PEx traffic in the UAAP sub-forums are higher than in our NCAA forum so the attention that is given is expected plus sponsors willing to spend in ads. As much as I would want our own forum to have that privilege, it's kinda like when we have to troop to the games live. We need to increase pexers here and awareness in our discussions too.

Beach Volleyball in a Typhoon-filled 1st round of the NCAA? Hilariously ironic!

uaap somehow makes it work. the rationale is that para hindi sabay ang hardcourt and beach vb since some of the players play double duty.

I would've preferred that they launch the beach volleyball tourney when summer is about to begin and make it the season finale, not when the sand is wet and there's no one to watch it live except family and fellow athletes. Unless they got a venue that has a large tent. It would also lure sponsors like Beach Hut and other sunblock brands to the league.

But alas, the commercial leagues and out-of-town tourneys are far better at this marketing strategy and the league doesn't want that conflict. I'm sure MANCOM thought about that before. Like how they thought about that MOA with SMMA.

pagkatanda ko kasi 1st sem sport dati ang indoor VB, nalipat lang sa 2nd sem dahil nga para hindi masapawan ng basketball, for TV purposes kumbaga. parang 2nd sem din yata dati beach vb nalipat sa 1st sem because of yun nga yung reason ni nuss.
