    just cuirous...

    cheers

nakakaintindi sila ng Tagalog pero mas sanay silang magsalita in English language...

i live in canada and this happens a lot.

minsan may na encounter pa ako sa work,"sorry if i dont answer you in tagalog bec im not used to it anymore" but listen to her talking sounds like her passports was stamped yesterday. ay ewan.....!

and yet my kids who are talk, move and dress like any other canadian speak tagalog kahit tabi tabingi.

I am like that..

    ^^ true.
it is easier to express what you want to say in english at mahirap mag salita ng purong tagalog but if we are all pinoy gathering around, i find it awkward to keep talking in pure english.

Geez why is it a big deal kung english kang sagutin? Nagkakaintindihan naman kayo, right? What if naman kausapin ka ng english then tagalog ang sagot mo? Will that a big deal to the english speaker?

Kung naiinis ka then inisin mo rin by using malalalim na tagalog. Be proud of your language. I think yung inis and intimidation is rooted to the notion na mas intelligent ang taong nagsasalita ng english over yung nagsasalita ng tagalog. I think it is more of a problem nung may perception ng ganun and I think ganun ka TS.

Eh pa'no yung kaming dalawang Pinoy sa work. English kami mag-usap kahit kaming dalawa lang. Is that bad?

    eaton centre? aba partida

kapag baligtad ang f at p ng kausap ko tinatagalog ko na lang minsan din ine-english ko pero dahil alam kong pinoy, pino-po ko... where's the bathroom po? hindi ko alam kasi kung rude na tagalugin sila, kinakarer ang english eh that happened in the airport. ayaw mag-tagalog ni manang. she has strong ilocano accent.
