First off: AROOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Here we go!

Off-season Updates:

1. Traded 18th draft pick to Houston for Chase Budinger and draft rights to Lior Eliyahu
2. Offered $45m/4 year deal to Nicolas Batum (still no confirmation if the Blazers will match)
3. Reached $10.4m/2 yr deal with Brandon Roy who underwent stem cell procedure to regrow cartilage in his knees.

Beasley is probably going to Phoenix now, Tolliver and Magic, I'm not sure yet

Our lineup looks solid assuming Roy is healthy and if Portland doesn't match Nic's offer (which I think is an overpay).

PG - Rubio (though he won't be playing to start the season), Ridnour, Barea
SG - Roy, Barea, Webster
SF - Batum, Budinger, Wes
PF - Love, DW7
C - Pekovic, Love occasionally, Darko

Wes, Ellington and Webster are scrubs so I hope they don't play too much.

If Rubio comes back, I hope there are no more injuries, I really have high hopes. Here's to a great 2012-2013 season Wolves fans!

I feel bad for him. His value is slowly dipping by always being involved in trade talks. He's been pretty good when he gets minutes actually, good defender for both forward spots, great at driving to the hoop and good rebounder pero ang daming games last year na mas madami pang minutes si Magic at Tolliver sa kanya, wtf Adelman? DW has lost a lot of weight this season so I hope that makes him more effective at the 3. If we can get Batum then he'll make a nice backup to him and Love at 4 occasionally. Sometimes we go small ball with Love at 5 so sya ang PF pag ganun.

Twolves sign Russian player Alexey Shved (23 years old).

Don't know anything about this guy so I did some research.

Wikipedia:

Shved's best attributes are his athleticism, ball-handling, passing ability, and length at 6'6"

It's reportedly a 10mil/3yr deal so not bad considering BRoy is a huge gamble.

I'd really like for B-Roy to resurrect his career in Minny. He's one of the "few good (humble) guys" in the league and he deserves a better playing career with his basketball talent. I hope his health cooperates. Watching the troika of Love-Roy-Rubio playing would be sweet.
