What car are you driving and how old is it? What condition?
Is it the VR4? I am assuming that your vehicle is your daily driver right?
I'd say just go for the normal Bosch platinum 6707 or the super plus 7927. Don't bother with the iridium or the other fancy ones. I've used plenty of expensive spark plugs before and the price to performance ratio is not worth it for a daily driver.
Good luck!
thanks sir K.I.L.L,
i will stick to platinum.
many forums i read about iridium.
same reason, no other added performance.
just an expensive plug in the market.
and thanks sir kelunji for your infos.
have a great day sir's.
if you have any inputs about plugs, dont hesitate to post here.
we all want your opinions.
agree on the usual spark plugs. the iridium is just added expense.
how about torque master spark plugs?
is that available here in philippines?
Try mo yung NGK G-Power mura lang.
Just go with the recommended OEM type plug for your Galant engine, with the proper heat range and gap (is it an 4g63 Galant?) as specified by the owner's manual. NGK or Denso copper is fine and then replace this every 10,000kms. The only real benefits of platinum or iridium plugs would be longevity.
On our Sentra and Corolla, we use NGK G-Power (Platiunum) BKR6E-11.
Don't bother with those torque master or splitfire or any other fancy spark plug man. You'll be wasting your money. I'm using your run-of-the-mill normal spark plugs from NGK. Just make sure they do the proper gapping.![]()
I used to also have a 4g63 na Galant before...when I change my sparkplugs I also go for NGK.
thanks for you inputs guys.
i will stick to the OEM spark plugs.
have a nice weekend guys.![]()
how about for a kia rio 2008 model?
I'd recommend you stick to the OEM plugs too.
