Baka nde na irerenew ang contract nya hehehe. After 10+ years in the league, what a shame he could say a statement as such.

PBA suspends ref for controversial non-call in Powerade-Barako Bull knockout

The Philippine Basketball Association has suspended referee Peter Balao for a non-call on Powerade import Omar Sneed during the crucial stages of the knockout match between Powerade and Barako Bull.

This was relayed by Willie Marcial, special assistant to the commissioner and the league’s media bureau chief, to InterAKTV.

“For his non-call, Balao will be suspended until the end of the season,” said Marcial.

The non-call, according to Marcial, was very obvious and should not have escaped the attention of the referees, particularly Balao, who was in position to make the call.

In one play during the fourth quarter, Sneed fell down inside the shaded lane and wasn’t able to get up for a few seconds and should have been called a three-second violation.

The Barako Bull camp was in an uproar, protesting the three-second non-call.

The Tigers eventually won the match, 99-93, to earn the right to face Meralco in another do-or-die encounter on Wednesday.

Kinda funny that Don Allado rants about supposed game-fixing ....... even had a few lines praising his BARAKO BULL management team.

Yet, Don Allado makes no mention of the COUNTLESS effin' gross & blatant player (and draft picks) selling of his BARAKO BULL management to the elite teams.

^ hindi ko napanood ang laro, pero obvious ba yung non-calls talaga? kung ganun e sobrang frustrated siguro talaga si allado, mali ang pag-vent nya ng ire sa twitter but i couldn't blame him.

Is Don Allado angry, stupid, or correct with his statements abt the PBA's very credibility in fair games? Does he have evidence? He better!

Non-calls,missed calls, and bad calls are part of the Game. they should deal with it. get back on defense and play it out.

Referees miss calls. just like players missing free throws.

ok lang naman mag-rant on a controversial call or non-call or even against the officiating or the officials in general. but to accuse the league for fixing the loss and to air it out on Twitter? that's a totally different thing.

He has a big mouth eversince. What he did was very unprofessional and immature. Goodluck na lang. Anyway there's ABL waiting for you.

Allado’s comments ‘way out of line’ says Salud; heavy penalties pushed

PBA commissioner Chito Salud called Don Allado’s comments on the league “way out of line” and hinted that severe punishment could await the Barako Bull center.

“He is certainly way out of line,” Salud said on Wednesday. “He is indicting not just the game officials, but the entire organization and membership of the league, his co-players and team officials alike. This is a serious accusation, and I don’t intend to take it lightly.”

Salud was referring to comments Allado made on Twitter after Barako Bull’s loss to Powerade on Wednesday night.

“PBA games are fixed. They control who is in & who is out. It’s a disgrace to be in this league,” wrote Allado.

There were several missed calls during the game, which has led to the suspension of referee Peter Balao for the rest of the season.

PBA media bureau chief Willie Marcial said Allado should be meted a heavier penalty beyond the usual sanctions.

“Para sa akin, kulang ang fine at suspension para kay Don Allado sa mga accusations na binitawan niya,” he said.

di dapat nag tweet si Don Allado ng ganun against the PBA. He should have considered professionalism first. I think tama si Paolo Bugia na lasing lang si Allado ng time na yun.
Anyway, suspended npo c referee Peter Balao for not calling "3 secs" against Sneed in the end game when the latter fell on the shaded lane and was not able to move away for about half a minute.kkk
