    MyOutDesk (MOD) Story

So kahit kakabukas pa lang ng BDO account mo, di mo na pwede gamitin for payroll ng MOD, dapat magbukas ka ng another account, with the new bank.

Wait for results daw the following week.

Management, not knowing what to do with the info, mas minabuting iterm na lang lahat, OO LAHAT. Ni walang hearing, ni walang consultation, as in TERMED.

They will expect you to invest time, equipment and money; pero pag may problema na feeling nila eh medyo komplikado, term na lang, tutal wala naman sila halos puhunan sa inyo.

That's terrible!

Hay..

    Bad experience ko with Myoutdesk.com

Im not surprised na sa nangyareng to sa myOutdesk.com....ako rin share ko na rin experience dito 1 year ago.. nagstart ako sa myoutdesk october 2011...dahil sa mommy ako and I want to spend more time with my family especially for my kids kaya nagapply ako dito...nalaman ko sya from my previous co worker na nakasabay ko rin magtraining dito...totoong marami silang requirements like atleast 2mbps na speed connection, and dapat may backup connection ka rin pala for times na may storm and typhoons, kailangan din aside from your pc may back up laptop ka with spare battery, dapat ka rin magopen ng own bdo account (during our time bdo ka tie up nila), etc...so yung online connection mo gagastusan mo talaga plus opening of new bank account plus kuryente sa bahay...

kapalit nyan ay two weeks free training dahil di ka naman nila sasahuran agad..sasabihin nilang babayaran ka after mo makakuha ng client after mo makapasa sa mga client interviews..what happened to me was, after passing two weeks training, pinag apprentice nila kami for two weeks to support other client's tasks..ang sabi paid daw yun...but after two weeks of apprenticeship they told us na dapat muna makapasa sa client interview para mabayaran kami for that apprentciship..kaso naka 5 times na akong client interview di pa rin ako makapasa pasa..so binigyan ako ng ultimatum ni Julie (yung manager daw) NA IF DI KO PA MAIPASA ang 6th client interview e bagsak na ako and di na pwede makapagpatuloy as Virtual Assistant sa Myoutdesk...pero tuloy tuloy pa rin ang pagaaprenticeship ko while waiting for a client interview..came a time na nagkasakit ang 10month old baby ko kaya i needed to send him sa hospital...na confine sya so i committed two absences..i informed them na magaabsent ako a day before..and yung asawa ni Julie ay nagbigay ng go signal na okay daw..but pagbalik ko I was already terminated daw..kasi daw hindi raw ako fit to work...so meaning hindi mababayaran ang 2 weeks training ko plus two weeks apprenticeship...sobrang unfair sila dahil hindi naman libre ang internet connection and hindi biro ang magtraining ng night shift habang nagaalaga ka ng mga anak mo hoping na may kikitain ka for the effort..sobrang pangit ng mAnagement dito..kaya wag na kayo umasa na may magandang future sa MyOutdesk..oo nga pala ang pasahod daw nila ay 500$ per month pero ang binibigay ng client per VA is 2000$ per month talaga.

buti naman. and I hope hindi ka nadamay dun sa huling mga tinanggal at floating nung may nagpull-out na client last month.

  14. #14
nope i wasnt part of them. i am enjoying my stay with myoutdesk . regarding the 2mbps requirements yes its a need because the company want to make sure you have fast and reliable internet connection and i don't think theres something wrong with that every company has the right to demand especially if they will be the one paying you right? they simply want you to be prepared kapag hinarap ka na sa client, plus i dont think that the company will terminate you without/pull out without any issues, if your doing your job then i dont think na may gagawing hindi maganda ***

third clients do pull outs yes its true but thats how it works, hindi ka naman pababayaan ng MOD , they will set you up for another client interview if thats happens. even sa real BPO settings clients pull out right?

walang perfect na company and homebased business is fairly new in the phils. to be honest mod is one of the best homebased companies ive seen, pumunta ka sa ODESk they are offering cents per hour, san ka nakakita ng 600 to 700USD salary in the comfort of your own home? even day time jobs will not match that unless nasa managerial posts ka.

I have nothing against your opinios.... however think again

  15. #15
sure.. and you don't sound defensive at all.. not one bit.

there's a difference between expressing an opinion, and talking from experience. The same way you're talking about your experience. I won't tell you to think twice, kase experience mo yun eh.

I'm trying to give everyone the other side of the story, since all the good points have been covered by their website, and by some employees who are just after the $100 referral incentive.

One can say na baka bitter lang ako. I can assure you I'm not. By speaking from my own experience and without ulterior financial motives, I think it allows people to get a better picture before they even go invest equipment and time. And tama ka, kahit regular BPOs, may mga pull-outs and lay-offs din, pero at least, hindi galing sa bulsa ng mga empleyado yung pinambili ng mga PC and pinangpakabit ng DSL.

You also forgot to mention na tigil din sweldo mo pag pull-out ng client, at walang sweldo habang naghihintay ka mainterview and hopefully matanggap ulit ng another client. Panalo.

Basta work at home kadalasan too good to be true ang offer. Apply at your own risk!

..now ko lang nabasa. For me, follow your instincts. Ikaw na rin nagsabi, ready to go ka na nun, pero for some reason, di ka tumuloy sa pldt.

Basta too good to be true, malamang nga scam. Gaya ng ibang mga work from home na posting dito sa pex, kunwari petiks job and big pay (ex: Kukurap ka lang, P200/hr na!), tapos may link na papa-visit sayo, raket na agad un. Kumikita sila sa mga nagkiclick nung link, at the expense of job seekers na nagtiwala.
