San Sebastian and Perpetual Help take on separate foes as NCAA Season 88 action resumes Monday at the FilOil Flying V Arena.

At 4 p.m., San Sebastian guns for its fourth straight victory against Lyceum, which is coming off an 83-52 drubbing at the hands of Arellano University in its last outing.

The Stags are fresh off a 101-78 rout of Jose Rizal University, and are confident that their Big Three of Calvin Abueva, Ian Sangalang, and Ronald Pascual can keep carrying them.

Lyceum, meanwhile, is expected to be led by Chris Cayabyab, Rich Guevarra and Shane Ko.

In the main game at 6 p.m., a solid and tough Perpetual Altas squad will face another contender in Jose Rizal University.

The Altas will try to claim their fifth win and the solo lead in the standings.

Nate Matute, who has been playing steady basketball for the Heavy Bombers, is expected to lead the way, with John Lopez, Byron Villarias, and Alex Almario providing.

Jett Vidal and Earl Thompson, a deadly combination molded by coach Aric Del Rosario, has been carrying the scoring cudgels for Perpetual the past games.

Earl Thompson is from Digos, Davao Del Sur

Sophomore na sya ngayon. actually, last year ko pa sya napansin na may galaw talaga, tsaka medyo nag-aadjust pa sya sa NCAA last year kasi nga rookie pa lang.

    Fuego Perpetual

let's go Altas! sana mag tuloy tuloy na ang mga panalo ng Perpetual hanggang 2nd round. praying for a Final 4 appearance! 2004 pa kasi yung last, at ang tagal na nun

I miss Studio 23's coverage of the NCAA. If only nasa Studio 23 pa ang NCAA, mas madalas ko siguro nakikita si Ms. Bianca Saldua na nag cocourtside report sa Perpetual. lalo na ngayon na ang Altas is winning games.

    Aim High Perpetual! Fuego!

  18. #98
Earl Thompson really is the strongest player of Fuego as of now..

galing ng perps! from pretenders to contenders! biglang ganda ng program nyo sa bball.

  20. #100
Wow! From 11 points down in the last 2 minutes, Perps with a 12-0 run to steal the win! Vidal with the go-ahead 3 to win the game for Perps!

Nakatulong din na sobra taranta ng EAC nung nagprepress ang Perps. Parang [email protected] pa yung si Yaya nung na-agawan. Nagreklamo sa ref sa halip na bumaba at tumulong sa depensa.
