Best way to trim away weight while having a busy college life?

So as far as I can recall, before I went to college, my waist line goes around 29-30 and now its 34". thing is napabayaan ko siguro sarili ko because having a busy college life, our sched is full from mon-sat and sunday is the only day we can rest or sometimes do our works, and now i have decided to trim it away and at least get back to what i'm used to be, can you please teach me the best way i can lose weight? recommend din po sana kayo ng exercise i can do sa room lang, i have no equipment or whatsoever because i don't know what to buy and what to use. thank you and i hope this will be able to help other busy people out there too.

squeeze the time to walk or jog. uphill is preferred. check ka sa youtube ng bodyweight exercises. dumbbells or kettlebell lang ayos na for someone who is just trying to loose weight.

watch your intake. since weight loss balak mo, calorie deficit. less sugary foods and fluid. eat foods na kahit konti lang, mabigat na sa tiyan like meat or oatmeal. drink plenty of water to suppress hunger and craving. do a reaseach on this one and if you think that you can adjust to it because what works for me might not work for you...

First of all college life is not to blame for you gaining weight.. ive always beleived in the saying "pag gusto may paraan, pag ayaw may dahilan"

    Eat right and exercise

Kaya yan. Ako nga dati kahit sobrang busy sa thesis nakakapag workout pa. Time management lang.

Bull crap. Your schedule is not full. I did a double major program (Physics and Computer Eng.) and had lots of time for extra curricular activities.

Circuits properly executed will not exceed 20 minutes.

Diet, doesn't consume time. Unless you are preparing the food yourself.

circuit training, body weight exercises 20-30 minutes (max 45 minutes) with good form will do the job.

i'm a pretty busy guy myself, but i always find the time to workout at home.

at tama yung mga nagsasabing eat right - throw away the junk food, sweets, grains, bread pati white rice, and just eat veggies, meat, fish, eggs, nuts and fruits. kung di mo kaya totally walang kanin, pwedeng onti lang then chunk on the important ones. and eat when you're hungry.

walang kwenta workout kung walang diet.

    ----

    eto sample workout at home:

    20 jump squats
    20 body weight squats
    10 or 20 push ups
    20 lunges
    10 bench dips
    20 second plank

*** na bahala magdagdag ng reps or magdagdag ng mas mahirap na exercise if its too easy.

no rest between exercises, 1 minute rest after 1 set. repeat 3 -4 times. do this 2-3 times a week.

^ that will help see that only takes like 10 mins.. so no time is not an excuse

Actually, short of being confined in a hospital or being comatose, there is no good excuse. No weights? Do bodyweight exercises. I just like barbells better though.

TS, start with bodyweight exercises first. if you can't do 20 push ups, then you're not qualified to lift weights.

seriously, you'll need the bodyweight mastery when you start picking up weights.

sana nakatulong kaming lahat sayo dito.

^ Yes you can. You start at your level wherever that is. Weak or strong. You simply adjust.

More bull crap. If you are physically able to lift the bar, you can lift weights. Barbell training is the most efficient way to get strong, bar none. Once you can bench press your bodyweight, it is virtually guaranteed you can do 20 pushups even if you never train pushups. The reverse is not true. Just because you can do 20 pushups doesn't mean you can bench your bodyweight. It just means you are good at pushups.

let us keep this thread productive shall we?
both bodyweight and barbells are good tools

depending on what the trainee's strengths and weaknesses, that will give us better insights as to what will be the best approach
As the physically weak man can make himself strong by careful and patient training, so the man of weak thoughts can make them strong by exercising himself in right thinking.
