I doubt remake. For me personally, sana wag remake. Dapat graduate na si Marian sa mga remakes. Kung parehas ang tema, ok lang naman. Wag lang tahasang remake talaga. But that's just me of course...

Ang GMA 7 naman mukhang tumigil na ng pag-gawa ng mga remakes. Maliban na lang sa mga panghapon na shows na gumagawa ng tv adaptation ng old Pinoy dramas.

Hello everyone! Mon ami, Dex salut! O chige fren, paki email mo naman sa akin pretty please ang time and day ng two GMA shows where MR guested pleaaassseee pretty please? Hindi kasi ako tutok sa mga Filipino cable channels sa bahay at tabi-tabi po talaga, sa totoo lang puro mga walang kwentang pauuulit-uuullliiitt na mga lintek na soap operang mga nakaka-wang-bu na mga plots ang palabas nila besides, sandamukal ang mas relevanteng mga palabas sa mga cable and local networks dito no. Sa shows lang talaga ni Marian Rivera pwedeng pumirmi ang utak ko so doon lang ako pwedeng mag-tiyaga na manood sa Filipino cable channels. And that's for the love of Marian only.

Anyway, salamat ng marami sa mga kasama natin dito na umaayon sa post ko above regarding the super moronic "expectation" of that writer concerning Marian's academic standing noon bilang mag-aaral. Salamat mga kafatid at nagkakaisa tayong lahat ng pananaw at pagkondena sa mga kakitiran ng pag-iisip at opinion ng Pinoy entertainment writers kay MR. But I have to also point out that the writer also saw the positive side of Rhea's show that featured MR specifically when she (or he?) mentioned Marian's astute financial management. Oks yon.

Ang tingin ko lang talaga sa writer na yon though seemingly she had such good intention in bringing the best in Rhea's special episode with MR and also to provide her readers the better side of MR, with all honesty I just observed that she failed to create an effective opening of her article that would have well presented the content of it. But what could be expected (sorry po!) eh wala namang matitinong tabloid and entertainment writers sa Pinas (liban sa IILAN LANG TALAGA) at halos lahat ng mababasa mong artikulo que broadsheet or mainstream papers pa man din eh mga haragan at barubal ang klase ng pagsusulat nila. Halatang hindi sumampa ng journalism classes ang mga leche! Either that or that writer just had the conscious intention of reiterating to her readers the constant taunt of MR's haters alluding to her "boba" persona, which we all know IS NEVER TRUE. Or BOTH perhaps? Ewan, basta yan ang impression ko sa article niya.

Kung mabasa man ng writer na yan itong particular post ko na ito or may magbumbong sa kanya at sumulak ang dugo niya and as a result bengggahan niya si Marian, pwes problema na niya yon keber ko ba. Basta ako hindi ko talaga makita ang correlation ng opening ng article niya sa content nito.

Essay Writing was one of my fave subjects in college and I also incorporated it (writing essays) extensively in some of the subjects that I taught noong ako ay naging dakilang guro pa, so alam ko kung ano ang intensyon ng isang writer sa tinutumbok ng contents ng artikulo niya.

Wala lang, napadaan lang naman. Sensya na at medyo extended ang discussion natin tungkol sa artikulo ng writer na yan. Well at least I didn't fail to commend her for mentioning the positive side of Rhea's show about MR diba? So it's all good. Yaaaaahhhhhhoooooo!!!!

Forever by Marian, Marian Rivera's First-Ever Fragrance



I open Monday to you with great news. Tupperware Brands' got a new endorser and it's the beautiful, fun and quirky Marian Rivera. I consider myself one of the lucky people to be able to talk to her during her Contract Signing with Tupperware Brands at M Cafe a week back.

My head filled with all the gossip rag talks about beautiful Marian Rivera on how she's a snob and masungit, I was taken aback with how nice she was. Upon entering M Cafe, she already exuded a bright sunshine of positivity, all smiles and perky!

When we got down to her interview, she was jolly eager to answer questions. She spoke of her recent trip to Spain to spend time with her father and the rest of his family. Marian had light in her eyes while she spoke of her father and the rest of her family.

Want to know what she does when she's not working? She spends time with her family like the rest of us. She brings her mom to the spa for a massage, shop and eat out. She seems to love spending time with her family. She says she finds time for herself, too, and of course for her boyfriend, the handsome Dingdong Dantes.

Marian takes her job seriously and have learned to adjust her attitude as the years go by, she learned how to become more professional. But she also can't deny who she truly is and admits that emotions sometimes get in the way. She imparts that it's always good to walk away from the hurt and pain that others caused you. You can pleased everyone. Rather focus on your family, the people who love you, appreciate them and pray for those who cause you harm. Sooner or late they will come to know the real you, without judgement and they will love you for staying true.

Lots of wisdom for a woman who has been told she's not worth it. To me, during the interview, she's like a pixie and amazon all at the same time. Soft and gentle on the outside but full of strength and power from within.

Marian is her own person, that much can be said, There's no dilly-dallying with this woman. She knows what she wants and she knows that she deserves. Albeit unconventional, her not being so "mashowbiz" was a breathe of fresh air. No nonsense and extremely street-smart. She won't charm you with false words but rather charm you with her honesty and vigor.

Refreshing, indeed. Much like her very first fragrance, Forever by Marian. The scent of fruity floral is her bubbly personality wrapped in sophistication. The wonderful scent wafted around the cafe that enamored the people at the event.

She chose to partner with Tupperware Brands Philippines as it captures exactly what she wants in her very first fragrance. A lot has offered this opportunity but Tupperware was the only one that gave her what she was looking for. And it couldn't be a better fit as TBPH are very excited to welcome her as their newest endorser. Her enchanting beauty and status as a celebrity is truly the perfect inspiration behind their latest range of exclusive fragrance.

Birthday plans ni Dingdong at Marian, masayang ikinuwento ng dalawa!

Sa interview ng Startalk TX sa sweet couple na sina Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera, masayang ikinuwento ng dalawa ang kanilang mga plans para sa kanilang mga nalalapit na kaarawan at ang mga wishes nila para sa isa’t isa.

Masaya din ang ‘Primetime Queen’ dahil muli niyang naisama ang nobyong si Dingdong sa kanyang muling pagbisita sa pamilya ng kanyang ama sa Spain. “Parang barkada lang sila ni Papa. ‘Yon ang mahalaga sa akin. Ang makita ko ‘yong dalawang lalaki na pinakamamahal ko na magkasama at masaya together. Para sa akin ay okay na iyon,” kwento ng actress.

Sa birthday episode ni Yan sa Tweets For My Sweet, si Dingdong ang nagsilbing surprise for Marian. “Actually, surprise talaga ito para sa akin. Kaya lang, pinaamin ko siya at ‘di na rin siya naka-hindi. Nalaman ko tuloy na guest siya,” nakangiting sinabi ng actress.

Nang tanungin ito kung masaya siya sa pag guest ng nobyo, ito naman ang naging tugon ni Marian. “Oo naman, at bukod doon ay masaya rin ako dahil ipapalabas ‘tong episode na ito sa mismong araw ng birthday ko!”

Shinare naman ni Dingdong ang mga plano nila para sa kanilang mga nalalapit na birthday. “Not specifically for my mismong birthday, pero for the month of August mayroon, at maraming mga naka-line up na plano. Syempre, definitely gusto ko sa August 2, siyempre ‘yong family ang kasama at si Yan din.”

Marian also shared her plans for her birthday. “Siguro kung magcecelebrate kami, with the family lang talaga. Kasi gusto namin na tahimik lang.”

Nang tanungin tungkol sa kanyang birthday wish, ito naman ang sinagot ni Dong. “Ako ang target ko lang naman every year, ay makagawa ako ng isang makabuluhang pelikula na talaga magiging proud ako.” Ngayong taon din ipalalabas ang pelikula ni Dong with Angel Locsin and Angelica Panganiban, kaya’t very excited ito dahil ngayon lang siya gumawa isang adult drama movie. “Ibang role naman ang gagawin ko kasi first time ko lang magkakaroon ng isang pelikula na adult drama. So as actors, dapat ay palagi mong nacha-challenge ‘yong sarili mo, at ‘di lang paulit-ulit ‘yong ginagawa mo.”

Si Marian naman ay nagnanais na maging aktibong miyembro at advocate ng Philippine Red Cross. “Ako kasi gusto ko, sa bawat kaarawan na dumadating, ay may maganda akong nagagawa kaya’t nakikipag-usap ako sa Red Cross.”

Nang tanungin naman si Dingdong kung ano ang wish nito para sa nobya, ito naman ang naging sagot niya. “Siguro para sa kanya, ay patuloy pang dumami ang napapasaya niyang tao through her shows like Tweets For My Sweet. I really hope that she would continue to inspire a lot of people.”

Ito naman ang wish ni Yan para sa long time boyfriend.“Siguro, mas ma-achieve niya na ‘yong mga sinasabi niyang gusto niyang ma-achieve. At saka walang katumbas ang pagiging masaya ng isang tao, kaya’t gusto ko’y palagi siyang maging masaya, at iyon ang ibibigay ko sa kanya.”
