    Lower & Upper Back Spasm

    Hi, nag kaka spasm po yung lower back ko due to prolonged sitting while working. Pinatingin ko na po to sa ortho nung na x-ray sabi wala naman problema sa buto, stiff daw po yung lower back q kasi *** spine ko sa lower back is straight from side view. What the doctor advised me to do is do hot compress para daw ma relax at ma circulate yung dugo sa na spasm na part. Ang problem ko naman sa upper back is kapag nahahanginan nagkaka spasm, parang sa lamig pero im not 100% sure kung nakaka spasm ang lamig. Ano po ba effective way para magamot o matangal ang spasm? Nakakainis na kasi, halos lahat tina try q na, streching, no heavy lifting at kung ano ano pa na dapat hindi gawin pag may low back pain.

    What kind of low back pain do you have? Do you have shooting, electric-like pain on your legs? Low back pain is a common problem in people who sits a lot while at work. The technique here is to have the proper posture while sitting down,and avoid prolonged hours of just sitting down. Try to stretch once in a while and walk around the room if possible. Just like your physician has said, you can apply hot compress over the affected area. If these fail, you can be given a muscle relaxant which can help relieve the spasm. Also, rehab on the low back area can help.
