Red face How would you know if its time to let go even if you still love the person??

Hi, just need your thoughts & opinions about this topic

Well, my story goes like this...

I'm with my bf/live in partner for 5 years
Before we use to jive a lot, have fun and explore a lot of things together..but somehow as time goes by..we have grown apart..
maybe its because i got to serious on the relationship that he turned sour?? i got into this job that stress me out a lot..i became more serious and career driven..
I then realized we have different directions and goals in life that when i usually talk to him about it..we end up fightin that's why i dont usually bring it up anymore..and the fights are more than usual nowadays..

Right now,im confused about our relationship?? is this just a phase or is it really time to let go coz we've grown apart or perhaps fell out of love..thanks for reading and comments are highly appreciated

kung lahat ng sacrifices mo or love mo ay binalewala.

hindi lang let go, move on na rin.

some people call it the 7-year itch (+/-2 years, so 5-9 years ang realistic window). It's when the growing apart happens and this is considered by some to be a test that once hurdled, then most likely, kayo na talaga sa huli.

kayo lang mismo ang makakapagsabi if test/trial lang nga ba talaga yan, burnout, or simply falling out of love.

    Godd luck TS!

Have you in the last month or so thought about:

    a. It's been five years
    b. Have to use past tenses like "use to"
    c. You have grown apart
    d. Turned sour
    e. Stressful job
    f. Realization of different goals and aims in life
    g. Frequent fights
    h. Confusion
    i. Fell out of true love

If you checked one or more of the following then you it's time.

-when you no longer see yourself growing old together with your partner....
-when you only see the "U" in "US" already ...
    - when you can only see the sunset instead of the sunrise..
-when you can only feel sadness instead of happiness with your partner...

then it's time to let go...

thanks for the advise... due to our frequent fights and misunderstandings,he left our place went home to her dads place muna..its been awhile na di kami magkasama and when we talk it boils down to fighting pa..what i heard is he's going a lot..partying and with this girl friend that i can sense na eversince he has a thing with this girl, one time we were together t his girl kept on calling him and he's not answering the call when i said why not answer it,he went hysterical on me..he said that i always makes pakielam with his stuff, that she is just a friend for a long time na..blah!blah! that they were suppose to go on a friends bday party..then after fighting he left again..up to now,no text or call from him...is he moving on already??is that a go signal that i need to move on aswell?? im hanging on but i dont know if i still need to.. help need opinion on this..

Its hard to say goodbye for a long relatioship but we need to wake up and smell the coffee. I know what your exactly going through. I am the same still in the recovery after a 16 years of marriage and my husband decided to find another woman. Its very painful specially if you have kids to consider. but I think we need to move on and only time would heal our hurtful feelings.
