KPerkins will stay at the 5 spot. expect KPerkins/SIbaka/NCollison to rotate at center.
is PJones3 healthy and does he have an effective low post offense and defense. he does rebound for a PF?

pJ3 is a lottery pick! the only problem is he has torn meniscus (knee) that why he's stock has fallen in the recent draft! but he will recover from it! he is Ibaka Clone but with more Finest moves..

    PJ3 interview

My knee’s fine, it didn’t affect me at Baylor,” he said simply. Presti then amplified that point saying the injury didn’t even happen while Jones was with the Bears and is neither new nor particularly concerning.

“It’s a previous injury he had prior to coming to Baylor he’s played two years (since) and has been incredibly consistent with it and it’s just something we have to watch as we go forward. If there’s anything that comes up from it we’ll be proactive but going into the situation we’re thrilled and we’re looking forward to having him compete this summer.”

excited to see this kid perform in Orlando summer league..

Btw if this true and finalize congrats to coach brooks well deserved extension

Thunder, Scott Brooks have agreed on basic terms of a new 4-yr deal; sides still working out details. Story up soon on http://NBA.com.

SIbaka will teach this guy defense . he doesnt even average 1bpg in college. injury or not, he can be a study if he will work with the system.

    Brooks has been renewed.

The Oklahoma City Thunder signed Head Coach Scott Brooks to a multi-year contract, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager, Sam Presti. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

7-3 center Hasheem Thabeet agrees to two-year deal with @okcthunder, source tells Y! Second overall pick in 2009 draft joining his 4th team.

while the lakers just add a veteran here we are adding a non existence center Mas magaling pa si Cole Aldrich dyan eh!

    Thabeet to OKC.

    Power Shift

    Game over NBA.

  10. #30
not much to cheer about because the guy does not have the ability or the minutes to be an impact on the line-up ... maybe he will be another study.

atleast KPerkins will have a tall reliever and NColision and SIbaka can slide to PF, and KDurant to SF.

Ibaka isn't even the best defender for this team. Yes I'm aware that he is in the all-defensive team but his defense IMO is overrated. Stats can be deceiving. Perhaps he can teach him drills/workouts to make him more explosive but as for being a lockdown/post defender then he's better off taking notes from Perk, Nick and Thabo.

i like this move. with aldrich expected to take up nazr's role, thabeet will likely assume aldrich's old role as the last big man on the bench. not bad considering that they got him only for the minimum salary. he's still definitely a project, but even now he does provide OKC something the team haven't had in recent years: a legit 7-footer center. let's just hope that he evolves into a useful piece.

forgot to add, matagal na rin pala kursunada ni sam presti si thabeet. they wanted to draft him no.2 over-all in 2009 but memphis beat him to it

now presti finally gets his hands on his dream center for the minimum. but seriously, not bad. at the very least, they'd still have a young 7-footer warming up on the bench. but best-case, they'd get for themselves a shotblocker who could alter games in spurts on the defensive end of the floor.

just like the perry jones drafting, this is yet another low-risk, high-reward move for presti. now its time for our beloved gm to get us some veteran help. dejuan blair and louis williams please

with the signing of rookie free-agent hollis thompson, okc's 15 man roster has been filled out. but im hoping that a trade can still be made, we still badly need a steady veteran backup PG as an insurance policy. i still dont trust maynor and especially jackson that much.

as for the thompson signing, i like it. okc's scouting department is clearly at work. thompson compares favorably with james jones, and has the size/skill to be a successful 3-point specialist in the NBA.
