The challenges you faced before like cheating death a lot of times made you fearless of death and you probably believe there is an after-life for living on Earth is just a fraction of possibilites and the after-life is limitless -- it's like immortality but without the pain, suffering, and limitations to our abilities.

Tito Dolphys contributions to the entertainment industry is enormous..... he is respected by many.... he is the foundation of the comedy genre on Philippine TV and movies.... You deserved to be loved. God will give you peace

Maraming marami pong salamat sa mga halakhak na binigay nyo po sa amin at sana nga po mapag patuloy nyo pa rin kahit na nga po sana na naka wheelchair kayo or may oxygen tank next to you.

Ma pa Mang Kevin, Mang John or sa mga ibat ibang role na ginampanan nyo behind it is a true National Artist hindi man ma appreciate nang iba pero alam naman po namin na ang importante sa inyo ay makapag bigay nang ngiti sa bawat taong nakaka panood sa inyo.

Mula ng magkaisip ako at namulat sa panunuod ng telebisyon nuong bata pa ako ay palagi kong inaantabayanan ang mga natatanging pelikula ni Tito Dolphy. Dahil sa pagiging natural na komedyante kinakitaan siya ng husay at galing kaya naman di naglaon binansagan siyang "KING OF COMEDY".

Talaga namang hindi matatawaran ang kaniyang mga nagawang pelikula na nakapagpatawa at nakapagpahalakhak ng sambayanang pilipino mula nuon hanggang ngayon. Tunay ngang Laughter is the best medicine.. kahit maraming pilipino ang hirap sa buhay.. palaging dinadaan na lang sa komedya.

Kaya naman bilang isang pilipino kinikilala ko ang mga naiambag ni Tito Dolphy sa industrya ng pelikulang pilipino pagdating sa komedya. Panawagan ko sa ating gobyerno wag na nating hintayin pa na mawala ang isang natatanging haligi sa industrya ng showbiz bago pa natin ito gawaran ng nararapat na parangal para sa kanya.

Tito DOLPHY ikaw ay tunay na Pilipino at karapat dapat kang kilalanin sa iyong mga nagawa.. Hinahangaan ko ang kanyang mga pinagdaanan bago narating ang titulong inilaan para sa kanya.
Ikaw ang ama at hari ng komedya sa aming mga pilipino kaya patuloy naming isisigaw at ipagmamalaki sa mga susunod pang henerasyon ang iyong mga kapuri puri at mga dakilang pelikulang pilipino. Mananatiling kang HARI magpakailanman:-)

Dolphy passes away, says partner Zsa Zsa Padilla

Veteran actor-comedian Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon passed away Tuesday evening, his common-law-wife Zsa Zsa Padilla confirmed to ABS-CBN.

Dolphy died a few days before he would have celebrated his 84th birthday on July 25.

Dolphy was taken to the Makati Medical Center last June 9 due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and has been confined since then at the intensive care unit.

Dolphy’s children, grandchildren, and other relatives stayed with Dolphy until his very last.

Among his visitors were co-stars Maricel Soriano, Nova Villa, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Nora Aunor, Charo Santos, Edgar Mortiz, Bentong, Smokey Manaloto, as well as healing priest Fr. Sonny Ramirez, who offered prayers.

Dolphy’s career in entertainment as a comedian–on stage, radio, television, and movies–lasted for more than six decades. He is survived by Padilla and his 18 children.

I didn't know that there was no signal for cellphones or wi-fi inside the New Bilibid Prison. I was there since after lunch and just finished taping. I was so happy because I was inside maximum security and EVERYONE was so warm & not not one person/inmate made me bastos even from afar. In fact, mas nakaramdam ako ng pagmamahal at respeto mula sa mula sa kanila kesa sa ibang tao sa labas. And then I got inside my bus, answered KC's call on my phone & while we were talking, my Exec. Producer Crissy came to me and very gently told me na "Wala na siya..." My Tito Dolphy. The King King of Comedy. A good father. Loving & devoted to ZsaZsa. Extended help to whoever needed it, and QUIETLY. God brought him home not just to release him from his pain & suffering, but because He had lent Tito Dolphy to us for too long a time and wanted him home. I'm sure the Lord missed him. As I am sure we all will, from now on... Rest in peace, my beloved Tito Dolphy. I will continue to do my best to follow the beautiful example you set for all of us, even when you didn't know it. I love you from the bottom of my heart. I miss you sooooo very much already. Showbiz has again lost one of its its handful of truly talented and most decent members. You left us with so few who are like you. Your leaving has just made us all realize all the more how much we love you. We will never forget you. Rest in God now, Tito. Pls say 'hi' to my to my Daddy and my two babies when you see them. I love you.

Huling Paalam: Schedule of Dolphy's wake

The Quizon family has released the official schedule for Dolphy's wake. Friends, family, and fans can pay their final respects until Sunday.

Dolphy's remains will lie in state at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater starting, Wednesday, July 11, from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m.

From Thursday until Saturday, public viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. only, at the Heritage Memorial Park, Taguig City.

It's a sad, dark day for me and countless others as I am sure we still haven't accepted that Tito Dolphy is indeed, gone. Taping 3 episodes today. I couln't sleep when I got home last night like I planned to. Fell asleep 6am, was up 10. On my way to studio now. I am so not in the mood to work. Heart too heavy. And to think I was already highly stressed from all angles before this. I just want to lie down and cry. Am overwhelmed with stressors. Guess it really pours when it rains. No longer so much going on, but WAY TOO MUCH. Please say a prayer for me too, if you can. Thank you and love you. God bless us all.

Ronnie Quizon announces schedule of viewing of Dolphy's remains

1. PLEASE WEAR WHITE FOR MY DAD. IT'S MY FATHER'S FAVORITE COLOR.

2. Instead of flowers, please make donations to the DOLPHY AID Para Sa Pinoy Foundation. My father would prefer that you help him help other Filipinos.

3. ABS-CBN DAY - (Wednesday, July 11, 2012)
My father's body will be at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN from 1:00 pm today until 3:00 am tomorrow. The early hours will be for ABS-CBN employees and other Kapamilya, and our family and friends. ABS-CBN will open its doors for public viewing starting 9:00 pm tonight, until 3:00 am tomorrow. After which, my father will be brought back to the Heritage Park.

4. TV5 DAY - (Thursday, July 12, 2012)
We will open our doors for public viewing daily from 8:00 am up to 3:00 pm. On this day, however, TV5 employees and other Kapatid will have the rest of the day (and night) along with our family and friends.

Note: As of this writing, we still don't know the arrangements with GMA7, so please wait for further announcements.

5. (Friday, July 13, 2012) and (Saturday, July 14, 2012)
Doors will be open for the public from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. The rest of the day will be reserved for family and friends of the family. After 3:00pm, please make arrangements with members of the family for clearance.

6. (Sunday, July 15, 2012) Please await further announcements.

7. ABSOLUTELY NO UNAUTHORIZED CAMCORDING AND PICTURE-TAKING WILL BE TOLERATED. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS VERY WELL. I'M SORRY IF WE HAVE TO HAVE YOU ESCORTED OUT, ARRESTED OR HAVE YOUR CAMERAS CONFISCATED.


Para sa mga kaibigan at kakilala niyang gustong gumawa ng arrangements sa pamilya ni Dolphy, kontakin na lang daw siya ng mga ito at pipilitin niyang ma-accommodate ang mga request na makukuha niya.
