What are the Traditions of the Catholic Church?

Couldnt find it in Google. Im looking for an actual LIST of Catholic Traditions.

What are they really? Is priestly celibacy tradition as well? What about Christmas? etc etc etc.

Dear Catholics, please give us a list. From the Major to the Minor. Thanks.

If you are truly a tradition freak. better search for "Orthodoxy" since that is what it means, literally.

It does mean that the RCC has a list of Traditions that it attests to be infallible. By "tradition", they don't mean a list of practices or doctrines. By "tradition", they merely say that any new doctrines, teachings or dogma that they will issue does not have to be supported only by the Bible because they are free to gather support from the various non-biblical documents, old arguments, and teachings of such obscure theologians in the past as part of an amorphous body of thinking called "traditions".

Tradition for us are the teachings that were handed down from the time of Christ up to our time. Tradition is both oral and written and the 'two' form a single deposit of doctrine and one is inextricably intertwined with the other. You can find this Tradition in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

A Catholic bishop defines 'divine traditions' as "the revealed truths taught by Jesus Christ and His Apostles, which were given to the [Catholic] Church only by word of mouth and not through the Bible, though they were put in writing principally by the Fathers of the Church" (My Catholic Faith, by Louis LaRavoire Morrow, p. 18)

na sasabihin niyong canonize ang librong ito at sasabihin sa mundo na dahil sa konsilyo nagawa ang bible lolz. which in fact you are telling us it is NOT A SOLE BASIS FOR SALVATION eh bakit pa KAYO NAGCANONIZE kung hindi naman pala Kumpleto

the rule that the bible is telling to us is this

    2 Timothy 3:16

    New International Version (NIV)

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

    tradition<<----kumpleto

tapos nagCANONIZE pa sila council of trent 1534

  16. #16
    Deuteronomy 12:32

    Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

32 What I command thee, that only do thou to the Lord: neither add any thing, nor diminish.

I agree; Orthodoxy is much more in keeping Holy Tradition than the Catholic Church ever did.
