I don't remember having USB3 sa surface. Based on the video, its only USB 2. Maganda ang feature ng Surface- 2 in one - cover + keyboard unlike sa Ipad cover lang.

I was planning to buy the new Ipad but it give me second thoughts since this came out. I'll check on more reviews in the net. I was curious of the pricing baka mas mahal pa ito sa Ipad. Di pa sanay ang Microsoft in presenting, bitin ang dating unlike sa Apple WWDC, pricing and shipment is avaiable for consumers to buy it right away. Windows 8 will come after 3 months so the price of the surface will be mentioned after 3 months din hehe.

walang test of videos and photos sa surface, pati yung browsing sa IE para malaman sana natin ang difference sa Ipad.

One advantage of surface - hinde lang siya tablet, pede rin siya PC sa bahay at laptop na din unlike Ipad tablet lang talaga at pang mobile apps lang.

thanks Redmond supported pala ng USB 3 kasi sa start ng complete video presented by another guy, USB 2 port lang ang pinakita.

Since my usb port and hdmi port, pede mo kabitan ng mouse or printer or any external equipment yan. HInde lang nila na-elaborate sa video hehehe kasi nga first time lang ata nila magpresent ng ganito sa mga developers at ginaya nila style ng Apple Wala nga rin sample ng video streaming at photos at browsing the net ng IE. Baka may inaayos pa sila since after 3 months pa marerelease officially ang Windows 8.

Sa apple hinde uso ang paggamit ng mouse at hinde mo kailangan ng antivirus sa Mac unlike sa windows you need to install antivirus and malware aside from its windows firewall and windows defender.

You will most likely be able to rotate the orientation to portrait mode, so you can read your magazines.

Surface with Windows 8 Pro can handle that. it is an x86 computer.

True but x86 apps were not made with touch screens in mind.

kung $799 eh di parang smartphone lang din ang presyo niya, medyo tempting din ito

napansin ko lang, like me, hindi naman akong taong on the go, that relies on wifi lagi pag asa labas

kung wifi naman sa bahay, mas maganda pa din ang laptop/desktop, iba pa din ang feel kaysa mag browse ka sa maliit na screen at magtype na hindi keyboard ang gamit

usually, in the end, mas gamit ko pa din ang laptop/desktop, compare sa mga smartphone at tablet

so kung bibili ka ng mga ganito sana hindi maging pamporma lang, sa ibang bansa applicable talaga mga ganito, like sa san francisco, ang wifi nagkalat lang, tapos mga times 10 ang bilis compare sa mga plan dito (wired dsl), biruin mo free wifi doon daig pa ang paid wired dito

Surface really caught my attention kaya lang they didn't demo the keyboard where i'm interested in. I watched the launch kaya lang walang napakitang demo na gumagamit ng keyboard.

I also want to know it's battery life specifically yung may Windows 8 Pro version...If it's almost like a laptop in performance tapos the battery is so small (compared to a laptop) gaano ko sya katagal magagamit.
