    Wearing Makeup in the Philippines

how often do you guys see people wearing make up? and is it hard for woman in the Phil to wear make up because of the hot tropical weather (how do you guys handle the heat while wearing makeup)? And if you are a female in the Phil. how do you guys wear your make up there?

Like wearing full foundation, blush, etc.

i just wear light make up like loose powder, blush, gloss, mascara and eyebrow stuff.

^ thanx! I'm just really curious since me and my family are going to visit 2 years from now (hehe, long time I know) and I want to know how my makeup will hold up in the heat and all that.

the make up I usually wear are, loose powder (sometimes bb cream if I have the time),sometimes concealer, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lip balm, my fave lipgloss and mascara.

I wear light makeup lang but of course if needed (especially for special events) I wear more but not that heavy.

Can your make up last with high humidity?

If so, you can wear those in the Philippines.

i use MAC Studio Perfect with SPF25

ganda kasi magaan sa muka. may spf at unlike other make ups na nagmumukang putik pag tumagal, eto hindi.. at maganda ****..

ur from FL right? db parang hind naman yata nagkakalayo ang weather at climate natin.

Sabi nila, para daw tumagal yung make-up, kailangan gamitan ng primer before applying foundation

dahil sa ubod ng init at humid sa atin, at pag nagcocomute ako e parang natutunaw lang ang make up ko, i opted to just use cheek and lip tints. ok ang brands ng tony moly and Lioele.... hindi oily yun and at the same time, kahit pawis nako, nagiistay pa rin sya... tamang rosy cheeks lang ang effect. maganda yung orange tint ng Lioele parang natural glow lang siya. similar sa makeup ng girls sa movie ng naked weapon.

I don't think the TS is asking how to apply make up like a clown.

This is actually true tsaka para mas maganda ang finish ng makeup

keep it light. stick to sheer or powdery formulation that is if you have oily skin.

using a primer makes sense coz it's supposed to improve your make-up's longevity. most primers go on sheer so i don't think it'll make you look like a clown

TS, 2012 pa pala yung post mo. so you got a year pa before ka umuwi dito sa pinas, baka mas mainit na ang panahon next year lol. get a good make-up setting spray, you can try skindinavia. as for me, i swear by urban decay's which is made by skindinavia din. mas gusto ko setting spray coz feeling ko mas lightweight siya while primers usually make my face oily and sometimes mas nag-slide pa yung make-up coz you tend to put a lot of prods on your face.

lol in time pa rin post ko! TS feeling ko pagdating mo rito marami namang technology na nadiscover to make makeup last longer.

yes you can always use yung mga setting sprays, all nighter, model in a bottle, etc.

i have combination-oily skin and mahirap nga magstay ang makeup. use light makeup, water based para thin lang and di masyadong mabigat sa face, neutral eyes, etc. stock up on makeup with good staying power para sure.
