AFP-based booters in the National Team: Should STAY or Should be GONE?

With the tragic performance of the AFP clubs this UFL season, is it the high time to reduce their representation in the national team to give way for more deserving booters, or remove them at once? post your answers here in this thread.

If by AFP-based booters you mean all players who have played in AFP teams, then no. Huwag naman tayong discriminating laban sa mga ilonggo / AFP players; kung may magaling na lumitaw mula sa kanila, bakit hindi natin subukang ilagay sa National Team? Kung hindi team player / effective, eh di tanggalin.

The problem with the current AFP guys in the lineup is that generally, most of them have been ineffective. Caligdong for instance, has been trying too hard to score (as if ayaw niya magpatalo sa mga foreign-trained players). Both Caligdong and Araneta also have bad ball control, resulting into them being easily pick-pocketed by players of opposing teams. Other players, such as Gener (and arguably Sacapano) are getting too old for international play.

futbolerole, it's more on tactics and the backline playing high and not reacting fast enough in their offside trap which resulted to the goal fest yesterday. pero na-off ako doon sa isang one-on-one play, obvious na hinawakan ni sacapaño paa ni villa kaya siya na-out-balance. auto-penalty dapat yon.

ano pa? eh di itlog ng pugo na magaspang. magaspang dahil sa mga lupa-lupa na nanikit na. wala kasing grass ang kanilang pitch doon kaya laging maalikabok at pumapasok ito sa brip. just the way spongebob likes it.

yah! hindi marunong mag shield ng ball si caligdong. si Araneta naman ok na sana yung turn niya, kaso pag apak niya may butas pala sa pitch kaya nadadapa hehehe. or imaginary butas ba yun? baka nasanay sa butas butas na pitch sa barotac kaya ineexpect niya may butas, wala pala kaya nagugulat at off balanced tuloy siya. isa pa kay araneta tarantang kulangot ito hindi siya makakita ng mga rushing team mates wala talaga shang kwenta. at ang bagal niyang tumakbo suzuki cup 2006 pa yan ganyan eh.
