These are bible teachings about wealth that will render you bankrupt/ penniless/ a destitute/ a hobo.
Luk 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed are ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
Luk 18:25 For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Luk 6:24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
Luk 6:25 Woe unto you, ye that are full now! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you, ye that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
Mar 12:41 And Jesus having sat down over-against the treasury, was beholding how the multitude do put brass into the treasury, and many rich were putting in much,
Mar 12:42 and having come, a poor widow did put in two mites, which are a farthing.
Mar 12:43 And having called near his disciples, he saith to them, `Verily I say to you, that this poor widow hath put in more than all those putting into the treasury;

"...none of you can be my disciple unless he gives up everything he has" (Luke 14:33);
"If you want to be perfect, go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor and you will have riches in heaven" (Matt. 19:21);

"But give what is in your cups and plates to the poor, and everything will be clean for you" (Luke 11:41);
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt,.... But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.... for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matt. 6:19-21);
"How hardly shall they that have riches enter to the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:23);
"Truly, I say to you, it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" (Matt. 19:23-24);
"Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me" (Luke 18:22, Mark 10:21),
Paul said, "For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as refuse, in order that I may gain Christ" (Phil. 3:8 RSV)
Yung mga commandments na yan, kung hindi 'testing', hindi dapat literal.
Nakita na natin ang biblical advantages ng pagiging mahirap kesa sa may pera. Pero ang mga christiano nagbabanat pa rin ng buto para magkapera, para yumaman, nagsusumikap makaangat sa corporate ladder, nagpapakakuba sa abroad pag uwi akala mo may hepatitis sa dami ng gintong nakasabit sa katawan, etc etc... yung mga preacher na filthy rich tulad ni quiboloy, velarde, etc... given na talagang sobrang yaman nila. But the ordinary believer? GOD DEMANDS 100% OF YOUR ASSETS. LAY NOT UP TREASURES ON EARTH. It can't get any clearer than that.
