Well so far, we cannot say he's that great, but I don't think the word "banban" fits him either. He would not be recruited by DLSU, even Ateneo if they knew eversince they wouldn't get any from him.

Jeron Teng is the brother of UST player Jeric Teng and son of former PBA player Alvin Teng. He was a top recruit from Xavier school and gained popularity because he scored 104 points in a high school game. Obviously, he was a lot bigger and stronger than most HS kids but still, to score 104 is not an easy feat. If you've watched the Filoil Preseason Tournament, he hit a 3-pointer to force overtime against Ateneo and DLSU went on to win that game. He's solid and will continue to get better but he already has what it takes to contribute in his rookie year
