SGV Tax Group and Career Opportunity

I've been reading a lot of posts and threads here and I observed that most our successful pexers came from the field of audit and some are from big 4 audit firms. I just want to know, ano **** ang pwedeng maging career opportunity after working for let's say 3-5 years in SGV as a member of their tax group and after gaining relevant experience? Kaka-resign ko lang kasi after 7 months of work sa isang small size audit firm as their audit associate. Nag'enjoy **** ako sobra sa audit lalo na last audit season since it’s my first, pero ever since gusto ko **** ang tax at nsa balak ko **** to take up law pag nakaipon. Kaya nung ngkaroon ako ng opportunity to join SGV Tax Group, hndi nako nagdalwang isip pumirma ng kontrata. Sa palagay nyo, tama ba ang naging decision ko na iwan ang work ko as an auditor? Tska anyone here na may feedback sa SGV tax group? Ano po masasabi nyo sa kanila? Salamat sa lahat ng tutulong!

hello bro. Good luck.

par galing din ako sa isang medium sized auditing firm, and normally sa medium sized firms all around associate ka, you will do tax audit, f.s audit and other special engagements, kaya naman i experienced both tax and f.s audit, sa tax audit engagements where in the client is claiming for a tax refund, you'll do vouching most of the time, then after vouching you'll do documentations that will be submitted to CTA, in short, little interaction with the client. sa audit naman, since medium sized audit firm, usually SME ang client na iaaudit mo so buong f.s iaaudit mo, lahat ng account mahahawakan mo, and that's a good thing dahil you will communicate a lot with the accounting manager, so based on my own experience the significant difference between tax and fs audit is communication with the client, and one of the key to the doors of opportunity is establishing connections in the corporate world, that's why i resigned in the small firm para hnd na ko magkaron ng tax engagement, and as of the moment i am connected with KPMG f.s audit sa tingin ko kasi mas maggrow ako sa audit eh. pero in the end kung anu yung gusto mo yun pa din ang sundin mo. kung love mo ang tax then its probably your calling. gawin mo kung ano ang sa tingin mo gusto mo and surely you will succeed.

Maging tax practioner! Hehe..

Salamat sa inyo mga sir! Godbless sa atin at Goodluck sa career!

Tama kayo jan sir!

though nung panahon namin may role playing kami kapag nagttraining and the facilitators act out as clients.
