New UP System website

The UP admin overhauled the UP System website . The new site went online June 13.

Some observations:

Pro: more user-friendly, contains more relevant and up-to-date info about the university and incorporated UP's social media accounts

Con: past issues of UP Newsletter and UP Forum are now inaccessible

What say you?

medyo tasteless siya. compared to the econ site, ang jologs ng UP page. ang corny din ng 'shaping minds' ek-ek. ba't di nalang 'HONOR EXCELLENCE' ilagay nila?

Looks good to me, pero yeah bakit may Shaping Minds blah blah? Sana lang updated palagi ang information.

Hay naku, isa yan sa pet peeves ko as far as UP is concerned. Amateurish ang dating ng UP Diliman website. Walang order, parang ginawa lang for the sake of having a website. The UPD Engg website is even worse. Kulang at oudated ang content, masakit sa mata.. in other word, useless! Ewan ko kung sino ang target audience nila. lol.

Ewan ko ba, sana honor and excellence na lang nilagay nila. Have consistency sa branding, hindi yung kung ano na lang maisip eh ilalagay sa website.

Mejo madumi pa rin tingnan. At yung shaping minds para lang oneliner ng for profit schools like AMA, STI, etc.

Buti pa to, cool, classy and clean.
