in before the lock
Interestingly enough, "Oh my Gosh" and "Oh my God" expressions have sparked debates/discussions within the theologians and religious community.
As for the Philippines being a predominantly Roman Catholic country, people should have been aware of one of the commandments: Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain.
Some religious people have expressed concern about the use of "Oh my God" expression. Some use substitutes like "Oh my Gosh" because they feel more comfortable about it and do not want to use God's name in vain while some people think that "Gosh" as used as a slang word/replacement for "God" is still considered blasphemous.
It's quiet fascinating.
