Managerial Accounting by Garrison, Noreen & Brewer is a good read. You can get a lower edition (international edition) colored paper from Booksale.

    Post cpa board exam

May bridge program sila, usually in one-year natatapos nila. Better kung kaya mo ipagsabay yung additional year sa undergrad partial review para di masayang oras mo.

I am a graduate of UST-AMV's BS Management Accounting program. I graduated last March. I am now continuing the BSA program at LCC-M as Sir Larry mentioned. One year lang kasi at decent naman yung passing rate (17 takers, 10 passed, 7 condi, according to SBMA) nung last batch ng UST BSMA na nagtake ng board exams na nagpatuloy sa LaCo. May kasabayan din kaming second-coursers galing Holy Angel University, UE at SLU.

As for other schools, eto yung mga narinig ko:
San Beda - 2 years to continue.
PSBA - According to a prof from PSBA na nagtuturo sa AMV ngayon, 1.5 years lang daw. Though di talaga ko sure kung totoo.
    FEU - 2 years.
UE - 2 years. Pero strict daw ang admission dito. If you are from AMV, siguro pwede mong kausapin yung professors na nagtuturo din sa UE para tulungan ka.

Hi kris358! Ayy naku pareho tayo. Not only that, di pa masyado nagtuturo prof namin. Puro lang sya kwento bout his earlier life na wala namang impact for us. Nakakinis! Kaya nga di ako umaasa sa kanya eh. What I did was, I bought Management Accounting books including Sir Larry's recommended book. As a matter of fact, 3 books ko sa ManAcc ngayon plus yung reviewer pa ni Roque na ginawa ba namang textbook for the subject. Sariling aral na lang ang magagawa ko. Good thing talaga I've enrolled for review classes in BL, Tax and of course MAS. Napakalaking tulong.

Hi! Transferee ako ng TIP-Manila from Holy Angel University. Im currently on my 4th yr. in BSBA-FMA. I'm on probationary to BSA since transferee nga. I hope to get super high grades to convince them. By the way, I'd just like to comment about the PSBA. I also tried applying for transfer admission there last summer. And one of the questions I asked was the length of time that a BSMA or FMA graduate would have to spend to earn the BSA degree. And I got the same answer- 3 sems or 1.5yr. TIP-M's policy naman for BSMA/FMA graduates pursuing BSA degree is 2 years. As in 2 tough years! Pag di ako pinayagan ng Chair/Dean namin na mag 5th yr sa TIP-M, alam ko na kung saan ako tatakbo.. =D

    I think same lang din.
But wait, grad ng DLSU-D with what degree? From what I know they don't have BSMA or FMA there. MFI ang alam kong closest pero mejo malayo na rin yon sa accountancy knowing the fact that the courses/subjects taken up by MFI are more on finance and not accounting. I just thought of it.
