Would you consider abortion if you knew the child would be SEVERELY disabled?

Let's say mentally disabled, he/she would require 24/7 care his/her entire life, surely suffer a terrible quality of life and would be a huge burden to you, his/her siblings and to society?

Will you take a lifetime's worth of burden for you and your family or will you end your child and your family's suffering as early as possible?

  2. #2
yes. me and my wife agrees on that.

  3. #3
Yes. Why make the child suffer for a long period? Abort the fetus.

  4. #4
YES.

Case to case basis under these conditions:

    - If the mother will die giving birth
    - If the child only gets to live a few days
    - If the child is severely deformed
    - If the child suffers from organ failure
    - If the child has incurable disease

But then again, it is really up to the parents in what to do. Some are really tough decision which harbors on morality, religious, etc.

Disability ba ang hindi pagtungtong ng college? Many people still live a happy life even if they don't have higher education.

    Analogy fail.

I think the parent is doing a favor for the baby since he will not suffer earthly hardship as well as he will likely go to heaven because he died without sinning, right? But of course the parent will go to hell.

raising a seriously deformed child is hell enough.
