It is valid because the rules didn't say "No crossdressing allowed" it said "no men in ladies' clothes allowed".

Items of clothing not allowed for men:
    - sleevelss shirts, tank-tops, jerseys, oversized shorts and sportswear
    - baseball caps
    - torn jeans
    - sandals, slippers, workboots.
    - ladies' clothes
    - all of the above

It's actually men who should be protesting since maraming prohibitions sa lalake. But...

    Rules are rules.

    Rules are rules.
And women are allowed to wear torn jeans, baseball caps, and flipflops. According to your article, the same bar also allows cross-dressers to come in on a case-to-case basis. Walang nabanggit sa article kung paano nangyayari 'yun so I'm guessing they are allowed at random. Rules are rules, but I'd say the rules are discriminatory.

Now explain to us non-Americans how is that argument a "hate" crime?
it's a hate crime because these people are being discriminated not because of their clothing but because of what they are. at least one blogger here has indicated how he/she hates gays and crossdresser. if these crossdresser come enter icon with very sexy tight jeans, and sexy tight shirts, still having a breast, will they then qualify as acceptable in the selective prisms of a bigot? jeans and shirt are men's wear, but, these people can still look very sexy, you would judge them still. why? because bigotry is a crime.

Add ko lang: 'yung hypothetical ban against traditional fisherfolks' clothes naman applies to all people, regardless of sex, gender, or stature sa buhay, and not just to fisherfolks alone.

You mean to say people can get arrested just for expressing an opinion? If I said "foreigners want females not shemales." in America, I will be arrested for a hate crime? Let me see if I read your post correctly...

Precisely. If straight college type guys came in there wearing women's clothes as a frat joke, they wouldn't be let in as well. Unless they're in the "guest list".

Eh Madonna flashing boobs? Pornography? They are also just being who they are or do what they love doing.

Wasn't whitney houston thrown out of the bar for being who she is before she died?

That's how these fags gain sympathy. They just wave their victim crutches, crying against imagined injustices and using hysterical soundbites.

If a regular guy insisted entry wearing a baseball cap and oversized hiphop shorts, he's gonna get his ass handed to him by those burly bouncers.

I'm for gay rights kaya lang rules ay rules. Yung bar may certain market of people at in this case yung mga regular crowd yung gusto nilang i-maintain.

Kaya nga gusto nila pumunta doon dahil if ever pinayagan sila, sila lang ang crossdressers and trannies doon.

  20. #59
Transgenders are not crossdressers ang bobo naman ng manager na yun

And merely the fact that crossdressing is not allowed in that bar is purely discrimination dahil wala naman masama mag cross dress
