Furnished or unfurnished condo space unit?

Which do you think is much practical? If you've chosen the second option, kindly share with us how you dealt with the design of your space.


When I purchased my condo unit at Cypress Towers, Taguig City, I was actually torn in between. I wanted to save money and yet at the same time, wants to decorate my own space. But since I don't have time at all due to work and other endeavors, I've decided to push through the fully- furnished one. It wasn't a bad idea at all. But now, that I have more time on myself, I would continue that same aspiration and apply it to my new space at The Amaryllis in Quezon City. Pre- selling siya kaya 'yung pera na matitipid ko 'dun because of the VAT threshold ay 'yun ang gagamitin ko. Since sa Dec. 2014 pa ang turn over date, mas may panahon pa akong maghanap ng mga design inspirations/ concepts.

Mas maganda kapag fully furnished na kasi hindi ka mamomroblema sa kung ano ang maaaring ilalgay sa iyong space. Isa pa, hindi ka isang designer para punan mo ang trabaho niya. Mas magastos kung magha- hire ka pa, pero depende na lang kung ikaw ay may pera at may inclination sa feng shui.

Katulad ko, hinayaan at nagtiwala na lang ako sa kung ano ang ibibigay sa'kin ng developer ko. At lubos akong natutuwa sa itsura at gara ng aking space. Salamat na lang sa DMCI Homes.

If you want to fully-customize your condominium unit, buy an unfurnished one. Neither your father nor your uncle will do the furnishing. You will need to hire an interior designer. But of course, you will need a larger pocket for this. Kailangan mo siyang pasuwelduhin at gastusan ang mga materials na gagamitin niya.

I'd rather go for the furnished condo unit space because: a)it would be less hassle even if you have some adjustments to make; b) you will not have to hire a designer anymore, and shell out a lot of money into buying furniture, accessories, etc.; c) it will not take much of your time; and d) you feel at ease seeing that your space is already well- assembled.
