PINOY PRIDE! I think Pacquiao won the fight by split decision.

But his performance is far below what most people expected (me included). He must do better, should there be a rematch (or if he still doesn't hang his gloves and retire).

I won't be surprised if the so-called "conspiracy" has basis. Apart from everything that's been reported already, I had that feeling from the getgo while watching the PPV and listening to Top Rank broadcast anchor Brian Kenny. Note that this was a Top Rank coverage using the same HBO cameras but having different panelists. The other one, Mario Lopez, is a known Pac follower so his opinions may be taken like a grain of salt.

Listening to Kenny makes you wonder if we're watching the same fight. He insisted that a case may be made for Bradley winning the first 3 rounds when, under generous circumstances, Bradley would have at least won only the first.

After the 7th round, it was even more shocking to find out that he had Bradley ahead, 4-3, when it should practically be 6-1 or 5-2 already for Pacquiao.

Even more interesting, if we followed Kenny's round-by-round picks, he would have given Bradley a solid 8-4 victory since he practically gave the last 4 rounds to the Desert Storm. And I'm being generous to him in the sense that without him saying it, I assume he gave the 8th round to Pacquiao. By the end of the broadcast, he was sugar-coating his words already, saying that a 7-5 victory for either fighter would have been acceptable. I was shaking my head the whole time.

In a sense, I couldn't help but somewhat be influenced by his observations, which made me initially score the fight at 7-5 for Pacquiao. But after watching the replay without the audio on, I gave Bradley rounds 1, 9 and 10 for a 117-111 scoreline in favor of Pacquiao.

Note that Mario Lopez was being polite at him the whole time - and you sense that he was in disagreement with Kenny the whole time. Lopez is very chummy with Pacquiao so you don't expect him to be objective. But Kenny was very good in making the viewers actually believe that Bradley had a shot. My family was silent prior to the announcement as Kenny was able to make them think that Pacquiao was at the losing end.

So what does that mean? Kenny was tapped by Top Rank to handle the coverage, in contrast to previous coverages when it was normally Colonel Bob Sheridan who does the anchor role. Why the change? Wasn't Sheridan available that night? Or was the younger Kenny being given the opportunity to take over? Was Kenny part of the team that was conditioning the public's mind that the fight was deservedly won by Bradley? Note that the HBO commentators, Jim Lampley and their resident unofficial judge Harold Ledermann had Pacquiao way ahead in the scorecards. HBO is a network that Bob Arum has no control over. But he sure does with the Top Rank broadcast team.

Several millions of $ are spent on this event and this is all we get. Often. If Manny was declared the loser 3x against Marquez, I wouldn't complain. But this lopsided bout is probably the biggest robbery ever I've seen. And the sad thing is, this is a chronic problem for boxing and no solution is in sight.

Here's what the champ had to say about mayweather fighting the pacman, right before the announcing of the winner.

Bradley was certain he will lose that fight!

    Round-by-round Analysis by Max Kellerman.

Even if you GIFT Bradley those 4 in-decisive rounds, Pacquiao still won.

The judges are just covering their a$$e$ to justify their scoring - Dan Rafael.

    it's a ROBBERY!!!

Watch the part of Stephen A. Smith. He said it all, sa mga okay sa decision at nagsasabing panalo si Bradley, panoorin nyo na lang din.

This robbery isn't new to boxing, and isn't new to Pacquiao either. Remember the first fight with Marquez? Remember Burt Clements, that judge who controversially scored the three knockdowns on the first round 10-7 instead of 10-6? He even admitted the error and nothing's done to even try to correct the decision. Manny should have won that fight if the mistake wasn't committed. But thanks to Mr. Clements, Manny had to live with that draw from his record.

But the public outrage generated by this controversy is unprecedented. Changes might be made for the betterment of boxing. They are now thinking of putting in 5 judges for high profile fights. WBO will test this by re-scoring the Pac-Bradley fight using 5 expert judges, but they will not reverse the result of the fight.

Kawawang Bradley. Of all the winners, he is a loser and its not his fault. If I were him, I'd just give up the belt and go on with his career. That would be better for him and fans would admire him for that, instead of tightly hugging his undeserved prize.

I can't agree more. I don't think Bradley will even consider giving back the belt to Manny though. People around him says he won fair and square, so I think he's gaining confidence and starting to convince himself he really won the fight. When people feed someone SH*T, that someone will think like SH*T too.

Seems the people liked Manny Pacquiao more when he lost to Tim Bradley than when he won over Juan Manuel Marquez.
