Quiboloy is the type of person that the government should either send to the mental institution or at least protect the clueless masses from his wiles. But the politicians patronize him.

If I start shouting at the street corner that there is no God, he is either brought to the mental hospital or harmed.

But if I shout in the same street corner that the End is Near and that Jesus is coming, then people will be respectful of me and tolerate my endless shouting. That happens here in New York too. Some drop coins at your feet even if you look richer than them. Other accept whatever junk handout you will give out. I think we are programmed to become mellow and pliant whenever we hear the magic words, "The End is near, Repent for the Lord is nigh."
