Ang main issue lang dito is some people are knocking off LBJ's championship just because he teamed up with Wade and Bosh. Planned or not, it would be stupid of LeBron to stay in Cleveland with no chance of winning a ring. He gave Cleveland 7 years but he got no support during the playoffs - and look at the teams that has beaten his Cavs teams = Pistons, Spurs, Celtics - all have "not one, not two,...." All-star caliber and high-quality players that his Cavs didn't have (and no, MoWill, 90-yr. old Ilgauskas, and aged Jamison and Shaq don't fit in that category). Kung kayo nasa lagay nya, would you have stayed with a crappy team with no chance of winning? Heck, even Garnett adviced LeBron to leave knowing how it feels to be "All Alone" with the TWolves. At the end of the day, no matter how you look at it, LBJ's ring is valid and should not be tainted with lame excuses. This is a different era in bastketball- and if you're stuck with your stupid nostalgia in the 80s/90s "Franchise-type" of players then you'll have a hard time stomaching today's trend of building teams.

Probably! Pero in the context of joining other teams for a better chance of winning a title

as of now, for me, jordan >>>> bryant >> james

but haters, here's my take also, quoted from a forum:

"kobe had shaq when he just joined the nba. lebron carried a team in his first 7 years in the nba. when shaq was traded, kobe couldn't win a ring until gasol came. no one could really win it alone."

Down the line, maybe after 7-9 years left pa kay LBJ,we'll be seeing maybe 2-3 more MVP awards and 2-4 championships.

Wishful thinking, kung may laro pa sya pag 35+ na sya, sana bumalik sya sa Cleveland, with Irving, T2 and their 2012 pick, I think magiging contender din ang Cavs, and if ever the Cavs won a Championship, LeBron will be a Cleveland hero again and will have less to zero haters. Wishful thinking lang. Hehe

Like I said before, no one wins shit by himself. Yet guys like MJ and Kobe, even ring-less superstars like Reggie Miller, understood what it meant to be a Franchise Player; You have to take the bad along with the good.

LBJ decided that he wanted to win ASAP.
Lurker here. Makikisingit lang. Your point was MJ, Kobe and Reggie didn't leave their teams. But the thing is, Kobe DID want to leave but he couldn't because he was under contract, thus the demand to be traded. If, at the time, he had been a free agent, and Kupchak hadn't been able to trade some scrubs for Gasol, the Black Mamba most likely would've mamboed somewhere else.

  11. #2731
^ My point exactly. MJ could have joined other teams, kung hindi sya pinagbigyan. It's for a different reason but still, aalis parin sya. He could have "betrayed" the Chicago fans, by definition of the anti-'The Decision' crowd.

Halos naman siguro lahat ng magagaling na frustrated sa team nila because there's no help humantong sa ganyang point e. Circumstantial lang talaga. It just so happened LBJ really didn't wanna waste his talents on a team like the Cavs.

Speaking of Gilbert, funny how he completely ignored congratulating LBJ. Bitter parin amp!

tama, pinagbigyan si MJ23 ng chicago noon by demanding to resigned pippen and rodman..ganun din sina LBJ-WADE-BOSH..

kaya ng sabi ni MJ23 noon summer of 1996 "I WILL NOT RE-SIGN WITH THE BULLS IF PIPPEN AND RODMAN WOULDN'T SIGNED"...MJ23

pasalamat kamo pa rin sial kay Lebron ang mga taga Cleveland at si Dan Gilbert na they have been noticed sa mundo ng Sports (basketball), they were nowhere to found before.

FACT: Kobe can't make it to 2ndround of playoffs or even make it to the PO with his lone teammates, after prime SHAQ left LAL.

still I respect for Kobe for his "5" rings.

Jordan had 6 rings hello!!!i've been a lurker here, for awhile now.this is my 1st time to post here b'coz this post caught my attention.remember pippen is the only legit superstar na teammate ni jordan.at marami pang nagsasabi na naging magaling si pippen dahil kay jordan.at that time also walang dominant big guy ang chicago.ang miami kaya nakuha ni lebron ang 1st ring nya kasi may 2 syang superstars caliber na teammate.wade and bosh.and bosh is a dominant big guy look at his average in toronto. kaya for me jordan ang pinakaconvincing na nagdala ng team nya sa championship.

apologies, my bad if i didn't include those players you mentioned.

    that post is just sarcasm.

oh good gracious, please quote where did he say he's the Chosen One.

I believe that " Chosen One" is tattoed and Media "hype" it all.

^ Was it self-proclaimed? I thought yung media ang nag-dub sa kanya nung monicker na yun when he was on high school?

But But But..but that's what Jon Barry said - Lebron now comparable to MJ after winning his first ring
