Fifty Shades Books by E.L James (definitely not for teens)

Who's reading one of the books or had read the three? I just read the first book, FIFTY SHADES OF GREY for two days and I just getting started with FIFTY SHADES DARKER.

This is something different but be WARNED, it is NOT fo TEENS.

It's funny that I cant put it down.

A lot of my friend-readers (not teens) disliked it, some bashed it so I put it on hold on my TBR list. Not sure if I'm going to pursue in reading.

Read book 1 thinking that it was a good-read because of the hype.

    this book is crappy.....soft porn/literotica....

it's like Claiming of Sleeping Beauty minus the graphic words/action.

The only thing i enjoyed in book 1 is the music---classical and pop......and the brand name of alcohol /drinks mentioned....and of course the book Tess D'Uberville

    christian grey definitely has taste.....

other than that, i'd say to a discerning reader.....there are better books out there worth buying / reading / borrowing.

i've read the first book and didn't like it.. really not worth the time..

I have to agree, the first book is some sort of "porno"-ish. I like it in a sense that it is different, in our time today that fantasy-vampire-empire-novels overruled for the longest time. It is good to read something else. This is my first time to read an erotic-romance novels so I cant utter novels that I can compare it to. I am on few pages with the book 2.. So, far I like it more than the Book 1 because it is much LESS porno yet.. Not yet I guess.

I heard they are making a movie soon. I dont know how will they make it less porno.

Oh gosh, nabasa ko na yung first book and i must say, hindi pala siya para edad ko. nagulat talaga ako. OH EM. pero nag eenjoy naman mga guy friends at mga kuya ko na basahin yung first book. I just can't ang bata ko pa masyado. I'll leave it to the boys nalang.

BTW. Ian Somerhalder for Christian Grey Please!

just finish reading all 3 books in 4 days! I must say it had a potential, kaso para sa akin naging weak yung writing/material..
it's a kilig type of story at first then bam! soft pornish na..
but I like that it had a soft side too...
overall if you have super extra extra time then read this one, if not then just skip it..
and yes I can totally see Ian Somerhaulder as Christian Grey

madame, i like to read it again sana, kaso yung mga kuya ko hindi na ibalik yung book sa akin. di daw kasi pang age ko yung material.over over ba talaga yung pagiging erotica niya up until the very very end (book 2 and 3) ???

Si Angelina Jolie pa nga daw ang trip nilang mag direct eh sabi sa source.

I am definitely rooting for MATT BOMER, I think he's the perfect description (physically) for CHRISTIAN GREY.

Sayang nga, Why he has to be gay?

Oh Henry! Owh this is given.. I have a huge crush with Henry since his Albert Mondego days with the movie "The Count of Monte Cristo", and yes his physical feature definitely so Grey.

Well, dont get me wrong. I do like IAN SOMERHALDER but I really DONT think he looks like CHRISTIAN GREY as described in the book.

CHANNING TATUM- I like him but I DONT see Christian Grey in him.

    GOSLING - NOPE!

As for ANASTASIA STEELE.. I am thinking Amanda Seyfried in brunette.. and I think she can portray the sexy roles very effectively too.

Also, NINA DOBREV, but I dont think she can handle the kinky scenes yet.

I like the fact that BOOK 2 has a story, compared to BOOK 1 which contains nothing but sex scenes from cover to end.
