kaya pa niyang maglaro for 2 more seasons if this season was the indicator. konting hasa pa siguro sa mga supporting cast ng spurs especially the newbies, they still have a chance to get back to the finals.

mr. fundamental. efficiency wins championships.![]()
this year, yung supporting cast ang nagkulang kaya natalo sila ng OKC.
Nah. Hindi na kasalanan ni Duncan na nawala si Malone sa offensive scheme ng Lakers. At kung nag-aaway man si Kobe at Shaq noon.
Point is, the Lakers were pretty strong at that time (old timers here will remember the thread boasting that the Lakers would win the next 5 NBA titles after Payton and Malone joined the Lakers) that losing to them should not be taken against Duncan.
You've been brainwashed by the media.
The media made the Lakers look stronger than they really are. Take it from someone who watched a grand total of 70+ games by that team; outside of Kobe + Shaq, the only players we counted on to produce night in and night out were Fisher and Devin fxcking George. The Pistons and Spurs possessed a more balanced lineup, they just didn't have the sexy names on the Lakeshow's roster.
I'm not saying it's Duncan's fault Malone was hurt; I don't subscribe to the notion that this year's champion team should be held accountable because Rose got hurt. But anyone with half a brain will admit that Malone could have made an impact in our series against San Antonio. Injuries prevented him from doing so, but Duncan still could not lift his team over the Lakers.
Tim Duncan is the best PF in the NBA. That his legacy. No more! No less!
i don't see how his "failures" will affect his legacy when his peers -- shaq and kobe had experienced worse. dude's the best of his generation.
