    paulit-ulit na lang !

'Yun na nga, abugado siya, but can you actually fault him for misinterpreting the law? Let's say palusot man yun or hindi, from a legal standpoint ang tanong ko lang, lahat ba ng dissenting opinion sa Supreme Court mali? May mga decisions nga especially on reconciling two conflicting laws na sobrang close. That's what happened to Corona, punished for a wrong view on the law. I think it's unfair to judge his character based on that SALN issue alone.

Kung palusot man yun, take this simple matter. Are they not fit to be lawyers? Just because it is their legal obligation to serve a client, even those guilty of the most heinous crimes, means na wala na they have no ascendance to teach/practice law?

I've read your posts and most of them centered on Corona's family issues. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt na indeed "ginulang"/"niloko" niya mga kamag-anak niya. Does that matter in practicing/teaching law? Corona was not even charged with Graft and Corruption. For me, if ilalabas lahat ng baho nga mga propesor, wala nang makakapagturo sa kahit anumang unibersidad, not even priests. If we would be absolute about honesty and integrity then no one is fit to teach anything, anywhere.

But let us assume na may intention nga siya, regardless of his defense, to hide his income. What does hiding of income mean? Ill-gotten wealth? Tax evasion? These were not established and proved in the impeachment trial. And even if it was, sabihin na natin na criminal nga siya, the issue becomes about ex-convicts having any civil rights at all.

Corona may be guilty as charged, but to what extent are his honesty and integrity affected by the ruling? I think the fact na public office lang siya bawal means na the Constitution and the Senate for that matter, thinks na he can be honest and he can have integrity fit for private life.

Yung punto ko lang, mahalaga ang honesty and integrity, pero to what extent kahalaga ito sa pagtuturo assuming na some people may have been dishonest at some point in their lives?

*** Clerk of Court sa Davao natanggal dahil sa DOUBLE COMPENSATION, not on SALN Dscrepancies..

^^ oo nga naman. dapat matukoy muna ang exact basis kung bakit natanggal yung clerk of court bago i-apply yung case niya to the case of corona.

mabasa nga yang case na yan.
