BRP should have won the ROY and MVP? No. Greg should have been the MVP if not for the crazy selection process they've had. Parks is a hell of a player but where was NU? I think last season, NU was better than UST.
Lester Alvarez? The trigger happy guard who folded when it mattered the most? Heck, he don't deserve the starting guard role, Canada is a better all around player than that guy.
It's just a shame that ADMU is not using Ravena as a PG. That's the one slowing down his growth as a player. What will happen if he doesn't have another growth spurt? We'll have another 5'10 guard. Don't get me wrong. Ravena is an insane player. But we're talking about college players na mag-s-succeed sa PBA. Let's just hope na hindi niya makalimutan PG skills niya.
This is why I prefer Baser over Ravena. Baser is the better all-around player and he plays PG at 6'1. He's the future PG of Philippine basketball. Oh, and he can also play SG. He'll play some SG this season because of the departure of Armon.
Makaveli, what happened to Armon? Is it confirmed that he is in the D-League and will enter the PBA?
PG's in Pros these days are more of a scorer than facilitator, Lee, Casio are good examples.
Wala pa siya sa D-League. Nasa US pa siya ngayon. But that was his reason why he decided to just skip college. He wants to join the D-League daw and then turn pro. Personally, I think that it's a bad decision. He's still raw for that lalo na at medyo payat. At least a year in the physical NCAA would have made him better. Saka mas tataas sana stocks niya.
He's a good kid, but maybe he received the wrong advice. He was contacted by a player-agent and who knows what transpired in their conversation?
Oh well, good luck to him nalang. Sana wag niya pagsisihan yung decision niya. Sayang lang sana hindi nagmadali. I was looking forward to watching him in the NCAA pa naman.
Amer can score as well. In his first game as a combo-guard, his statline read 15-6-6.
All I'm saying is he's not "miles away" from Ravena as some people are implying especially since we're talking about future success. IMHO, a 6'1 combo guard who can shoot, facilitate, and pass has a brighter future than a 5'10 shooting guard who can shoot but hasn't shown that he can facilitate. But who knows? With ADMU's present woes at the PG position, they might switch Ravena back to being a PG.
Tsaka, sinong player-agent yan? hahahaha. Showbiz time.
As for Kiefer, nakikita ko sa kanya is si Austin Rivers.
Fil-Am siya. Actually, Fil-Jamaican na pinanganak sa States. Pinay nanay niya.
Don't want to spread rumors kase hindi naman confirmed na kinontak niya yung player-agent. But you can check Juice's FB page. Nagpost sa wall niya yung agent and he even gave his number.
Goodluck.
Just to clarify, I'm not sure kung NBA or PBA D-League mag-t-tryout si Armon. According to this article, sa NBA D-League daw:
