State of the Baldik Address 85.1

Welcome dear baldiks, lurkers, posters, and to all those who are still in-denial; The quiet and praying ones.

I want to give my take on these articles since it had been known to all mankind that once again, we have been foolish enough to believe that 2012 would be our year.

Yeah, good luck on their individual projects, and we clearly have no choice but to support them, martyr eh.

Sarah's recent article:

“Iba po kasi, eh. Kasi, si John Lloyd, ‘yung level po ng pagmamahal ko sa kanya, bilang kaibigan.

Noon, sobrang crush ko talaga siya noon, sobra!

“Pero kumbaga, minahal ko na rin siya bilang kaibigan at iba na ring level ‘yung tingin ko sa kanya ngayon. Ayoko nang magulo ako. Ayoko na ganu’n ako.

“Malalaman po natin ‘yan lahat, pero sa nga*yon po, ayoko na munang isipin.

John Lloyd's recent one:

Nang diretsa siyang tanungin kung masaya ba siya sa kalagayan ng buhay niya ngayon, ang maiksi niyang sagot, “IN TIME, We’ll get there.”

He really did say IN TIME! the writer just didn't feel how necessary it was to include those two BIG words to the article. LEKAT yun. Alam ba niyang dun umiikot ang mundo namin? Sa dalawang malalim na salitang yun.

That brings me back to the not-so-distant-past. I would like to air my humble opinion, is that okay?



Whatever happened to that glorious day? The music video was already shot! Nothing could ever go wrong. And boy we were soooo wrong.

I remember having hopes reaching far beyond the horizon. I remember us getting very excited, a lot of people already planned their vacations for this. Preparations were considered done.

Then, PAK. BOOM, KABLAG! What the hell just happened? 361 degrees, a very surprising turn of events. Isn't that kick-you-in-the-crotch-spit-on-your-neck-fantastic?

But then again, at the end of the day, you come to realize that we are just fans, and that we have simply no right to ask for an explanation. They have their reasons and we just have to respect their silence.

So we are back to square one, believe in goodness and support them individually. The cycle's been going on for four years now. Baldiks have one common friend all these years, it's called disappointment. But what d'ya know? Many still remained faithful, unmoved the craziness of the media. People have come and gone, but to a baldik heart whose faith was never shakened, well, good luck sa atin. Isang taon na naman daw. Kaya pa ba? hahaha

Again, I have said this before. This is just the dramatic side of me.
The news that the management are trying to impose so badly. Trying to smash our malnourished baldik hearts, hahaha. Can be compared to that of a job application rejection. We'll call you, don't call us. A burning desire of emotions was flown by a bucket of ice cold water. Answers are simple, maybe the best job is waiting for us. And we'll gather the figs and dried leaves again, pick up where we left off and build the biggest fire there ever was.

But we handled it quite well, I might say. Thank God for humor who's our recognized best ally. Yeah, I wonder how we would've survived the turmoil, had it not been for faith and so much humor and laughter.

But that's the slightly serious side of me. Most of time we're still doing this, "" So yeah, we're good. One more year? BRING IT ON!

SF, #JuneLloyd It's your birthday month! I can't say this enough but I'll say it again. WE LOVE YOUR MIND. We love how you speak in riddles. Basta we love everything about you. And we're just eager little kids waiting for our bedtime stories. Eh plus the fact that you look that good? Kumusta naman.

OO, Good luck sa concert, nakanang, two nights ah! Kilala mo pa ba kami? hahaha You look gorgeous in that MEGA cover. Spread your wings and believe that we are just behind you. Others accuse us of not loving you the way love should be done, but rest assured that we got your back. Yeah, we got your back, always. Nood ka 11.19.26 Breaking Dawn hihihih

As always thanks my sweety for joining me... sorry ang epal ng connection ko tonight...

Yup....... I do know pang- martyr yun quote but like anyone of us here, HOPELESS ROMANTIC ako ba't ba? But before I go on any further, allow me first to thank everyone who greeted me yesterday for my birthday...yesterday from 7:30AM- 5:30 PM I was literally stuck inside a freezer- like room with only the computer monitor as a companion but pagsilip ko sa PEx seeing all your greetings gave me something to smile about. Maraming salamat for making me feel extra special in a day I thought would just go like any other day I had the past week. Thank you BALDIKS for being a huge part of my everyday life as in.

Okay so enough of that........

Sabi sa quote: Just LOVE... and maybe that sums up everything I wanted to say. Di dahil pinangarap ko na palitan ng baldiks si Bonifacio sa Monumento, and I don't know if it makes any sense but maybe there's no greater feeling that could ever be tantamount to all our hurt and disappointments we have had than LOVE itself. Sabi naman sa inyo hopeless romantic ako... minsan HOPELESS lang or minsan sadyang ROMANTIC lang but I've always believe that LOVE is too grand of a word and too complex of a feeling for it to ever be given half- heartedly.

So that's it, let's just love ASH and LLOYD the best way we can, the best way we know how.
