yun naman oh!! excited na ko sa shooting days nila and promo days.. wahahaha..

I cannot explain the fascination I have for Sarah Geronimo, lately. I said "lately" because while I have watched most of her movies, I do not religiously follow her. It was his former (and future) screen partner John Lloyd Cruz that I liked more. John Lloyd's eyes, those eyes, the stories it can tell and the emotions it can convey. He appeared to me as someone articulate and deep, profound yet playful, successful yet unsure. He was Miggy.

And blame it on the great chemistry that the two had, I was not able to resist thinking that there is more than acting between them. He laughed freely around her, she was affectionate with him. The catch though is that he was with someone and she couldn't be with someone, at least that's what we're told.

And so things happened along the way. I got over them. The few times they were together in spiels and production numbers, however, always makes the fan in me giddy.

Lately, Sarah has been excessively seen on tv portrayed as the girl with the suitor, the girl who we all want to see fall in love and be in love. I saw two of her movies with Gerald and it wasn't as "magical" as her movie with John Lloyd. But while the movies weren't as great as AVSL and YCML, the aftermath of the movies were more exciting. Gerald appears to be smitten and determined. He was ready to face the overprotective parents and admit on national television that he was courting her. He took a great risk when he decided to pursue Sarah. Whatever his real intentions were, he was brave. I will give that to him. I will always like him because I saw that Sarah was genuinely happy around him. I cannot say anything bad about the guy because I haven't heard nor read any statement from him blaiming Sarah, her family and her management.

Last Sunday, I saw Sarah hurting. I'm sure this is not the first but it was the first that was captured and broadcast for the public to see. I wish I could hug the girl. Not to tell her that everything will be alright because I know that she knows that but to just to let her know that she's loved not because of her screen partners but because of what she give to her audience everytime she performs.

Know Sarah that you are loved. My prayer is that you do not let all that's happening in the industry that you're part of dictate how you should feel.

Meanwhile, since I made it quite clear that I'm a fan of Laida and Miggy, I would want nothing else than to see them together again.

JLC: Nagkausap na kami ulit, recently lang. Nagkausap kami sa isa sa mga shoot ko recently sa Greenwich commercial. ‘Yun lang, nire-reestablish ko lang ang aking…para bang my being here as a friend. Sabi ko sa kanya, actually sa kanya nanggaling eh, sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Oh ano, Ms. Controversial?’ Hehehe.

Sabi niya, ‘Oo nga nasa akin ang spotlight ngayon.’ Eh sabi ko okey lang ‘yan, basta kung ano man ang pinagdadaanan mo, gusto ko lang sabihin sa iyo na you have a friend in me. Pwede mo akong tawagan anytime, text mo lang ako tatawagan kita. So, sabi niya, binibiro pa ako, sabi niya ‘Hmm, sigurado ka?’

Ganu'n lang din talaga si Sarah maraming mga binibitiwang mga biro. E, ‘yun nilinaw ko lang sa kanya na hanggang ngayon kahit na hindi man tayo nagkikita madalas or nagkakausap nandito ako. Kasi ‘yun ‘yung worry ko sa kanya, baka wala siyang mapagsabihan, o kaya, hindi naman tayo nagmamarunong pero siguro naman ‘yung mga experiences natin sa buhay meron namang maitutulong tayo, kung hindi man maitulong, maisi-share.
