I'd have to say that the amount you indicated would not be enough but it depends on what you plan to do an where you will be staying. My assumption is that this money is only for pocket money and does not include your transport, food and accommodation costs?

if you want to go directly to cambodia, there is a direct flight from manila to siem reap. CebuPac offers PHP1,088 one way. promo lang ito today till tuesday. Flight sked is from Jan to March 2013.

True, your budget depends on what airline you'll be taking, your itineraries and way of travelling.

We will be going on the same trip this August and as of the moment, we have spent the following:

Airfare: Php 5,200.00 (Manila-HCMC via CebuPac, booked through Seatsale and Bangkok-Clark via Tiger Airways)
Accommodations: 80 USD/ head (about Php 3,500.00) - HCMC, Phnom Penh, Siam Reap and Bangkok Accommodations)

So far, we have Php 8,700.00 less on our respective budgets. According to blogs ng mga PEXers, tours and transpo will definitely take most of your budget. Just be adventurous when it comes to food.

I will be writing blog entries regarding this trip. You can check the Travel Blogs Thread to guide you on your plan. Lots of tips and advices on their blogs.

Hi. I haven't written my entry on the itinerary, but I guess I have to work on it since nagtatanong ka na.

We will be there from August 19 -23 (August 19 na, Cebu Pacific ang flight namin on August 18. )

Rough itinerary:

Aug 19 (MN): arrival to HCMC and hotel check in.
19 (Whole Day (WD)): HCMC tour
20 (WD): Travel to Phnom Penh and hotel check in
21 (WD): Phnom Penh tour
22 (WD): Travel to Siam Reap and hotel check in
23 (WD): Angkor *** tour
24 (WD): Land Travel to Bangkok
25 (WD): Bangkok tour
26 (AM): Weekend market
26 (PM): Flight back to Manila

I'll be posting the accommodations that we booked via my blog. Hopefully, within this week ko na mapost.
