may flex po ba ang cam ng cellphone?

Hi, I have nexus google HTC fone and the cam always say Cam activity not responding with options to force close, abort or cancel. I brought it to greehills to have it checked up/repair coz its warranty in HTC already ended. The fone was working great except the cam. The repair man took it and priced his service fee (if ma repair without changing any parts) for P700, I agreed. Then he opened the cp (as in bukas hanggang dulo) then when he turned it on, the cp is no longer working!!! it just displays like TV without any show or movie playing, just plain white&gray. So now, my cp is broken andhe asked me to leave it for him to have more time repairing it coz he can no longer get it working. He ordered daw parts in HTC sabi flex daw ng cam ang sira for P2.8k, he is asking me to pay at least half of 2.8k. I told him have I known hat I will be spending 2.8k for that cam, I won't have it repaired in the first place. but he insisted, it was the flex (that was rusty daw in the first place, kaya di na gumana pg balik nya). Is it true na may flex ang cam? or he is just making excuse for me to pay for the flex thing to make the fone working again?

I won't pay it but I just need to know if he is just making excuse na kunyari defective talaga yung flex kaya konting galaw lang nasira na, related ba yan sa pag gana ng fone or ng cam lang? ANyone have a background in cellphone repair and stuff? thanks.

Unfortunately, Yes, I am the same girl. That was the reason baket di ko napicturean o navideo yung mama or scene kasi sira cam. bukod sa hindi ko naisipan. :P

Hindi ko babayadan yung 2.8k kasi hindi naman sira yun. Sya lang nakasira tapos di nya maibalik. Gusto ko lang malaman if connected nga sa flex yang cam na yan. kasi feeling ko nasira nya lang yung flex kaya di na gumagana cp at pinipilit nyang yung yung sira ng cam.

Pag di nya na ibalik sa dati yung cp or pgbabayarin nya ako sa di naman talaga sira dati, isususmbong ko talaga. Humingi ako ng resibo at 2k sa kanya nung araw na iniwan ko cp ko. G@go nga kasi pinipilit akong ibenta ko na lang sa kanya for 2k. tsk tsk...

nasa greenhills ka na malapit na lang yung service center ng htc dun, kahit expired na warranty po pede mo pa rin pagawa yun nga lang babayaran mo sila.

pinanood mo ba pano binuksan/ginawa yung phone mo? yung mga gumagawa naman nyan mapapansin mo nag-go-google habang ginagawa yung phone mo kasi sila mismo di nila alam pano gawin unit mo.

Mas honest pa yung mga nag re-repair sa Makati Cinema Square. Hindi nila sasabihin na kaya nilang ayusin. Sasabihin nila "I'll try, with 50/50 results." (Oo, in english).
