An appeal to my fellow tamaraws for the feu cheering squad

Hi Guys!

I am sure for some people na active sa PEX medyo kilala niyo na ako since active din ako sa mga threads na may kinalaman sa FEU.

I am an alumnus of FEU who finished BS Psych in 2001 and even entered IL. The reason I am doing this is because of the FEU Cheering Squad. I am sure we have all celebrated the squad when they won the UAAP crown way back in 2009. They have given us pride with their wonderful performances during halftimes and made our school very proud with their podium finishes in the CDC. They again gave us another reason to be proud after they wond the 2nd place in the recently concluded NCC.

Lately it seems that they are having problems within the organization. Some of them have been requesting for scholarships which were never given and problems with the coaches and the system itself. ( For those who know more please tell me if I am wrong or if there are any other issues ).

Most of the members of the Team A who competed on the NCC joined the casting ( auditions or tryouts ) for the upcoming UAAP-CDC. This shows that they really want to compete for our beloved alma-mater.

"You're not welcome to the group" - Coach Jacq Alolor. Yan ang sinabi ni Coach Jacq sa mga dumating na members ng squad. Is this the way we should treat them? I know some members of the squad and I have been following them for the last couple of years and for me this is the first time that we have a cheering squad who is very skillfull and disciplined tapos ngayon pagtatabuyan na lang basta basta ng ganun?

We have always been reminded of our values as an FEU student or alumni nasaan na siya ngayon? Is this the way we should treat those whom we have considered as heroes pagtatabuyan na lang ba ngayon?

As an avid supporter of the FEUCS this is my way of helping them out, to spread awareness to all the supporters of the squad.

Tama ba ang naging pagtrato sa kanila ni Coach Alolor at ng FEU Management?

Hi Pau, it's not ideal to make conclusions right now because everybody involved in the "issue" has a different take on the supposed internal problems of the FEUCS. Believe me, nobody's happy with it because in the end everybody loses.

I agree walang may gusto ng nangyayari sa FEUCS.

Siguro nga may mga mali rin ang members ng FEUCS but Coach Alolor should have guided them as their coach. She should expect that these kids are prone to making the wrong decisions and may have the tendency to be impulsive at times.

They may have also committed mistaked but will that be enough for her to say to these kids "you're not welcome to the group". These kids trained hard and fought hard for the school and now they are being deprived of the privilege to become part of the squad. When they won the championship on the CDC a few years back kabi-kabila banner at gamit sa kanila for promoting FEU and now ganun ganun na lang isasaisantabi sila ni Coach Alolor.

Ano ba ang tinitignan ni Coach Alolor kapakanan ng mga bata or kapakanan niya? For me hindi tamang ipagtabuyan niya ang mga bata ng ganun ganun lang.

PM mo ako... I think habang may time ipaglaban naman natin sila. I am already coordinating with some of my friends and we can spread the awareness to the whole FEU community. Apparently maraming supporters ang squad na hindi pa nakakaalam sa nangyari sa kanila.

I am really sad with the way most FEU students think. Hindi yata nila alam na wala na ang Team A members ng FEUCS or rather na tinanggal ang Team A. I just feel bad na para sa karamihan ok lang na mawala ang Team A members kasi nandiyan naman ang Team B members.Wala man lang ako makita na sense of gratitude for the things that the members of the squad have done for alma mater.

Honestly parang I am starting to have this mindset na bahala na nga kayo. Magdispose kayo ng tao as if you are disposing dirty diapers.
