To be honest with you, I don't have tricks. I just shoot, and then throw temper tantrums when things don't go my way. Try to shoot very early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Or if you wanna shoot when the sun is high up, the reflector will come in handy (it'll help rid of the unflattering shadows on the face).

but anyway, why do you like photography or why you are into photography?

As for me, it's my stress reliever , believe it or not i feel alive when i'm shooting
I really love your photos and I admire how you don't run out of fresh perspective.

Anyhoo, for your question, uh... Bakit nga ba? I was a makeup artist long before I was into photography. I wanted a strong (MUA) portfolio and I thought it would be convenient to learn photography. Who else could capture my work better than myself? And so learn I did. I fell in love with it and the rest is history.

    The pay isn't bad either.

Why photography? To capture the moments. And memories.

thank you! I got into photography back when i was 14 when my dad gave me a camera. It's a hobby that comes and goes for me. Right now, I need inspiration so I am hoping a photo walk would get me started again.

    wow Ms. Mai! Galing!

As for me, I love photography dahil sa commercial noon sa kodak, I love capturing that kodak moment, it's something that never goes away. Ika nga ni Aaron Siskind - “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”. This is something that moves me to take more pictures, to preserve more memories. Drama lang. hehehe..

Lemme share also some of my shots:

Browsing this thread is really inspiring..
SabrinaFairchild and 22mai, I know you already know that both of you are my idols when it comes to photography.

Respect for you bf3! Love how you captured these photos, especially the 2nd one. Lovely angle and framing! And Innie_Yer, that last photo is captivating!

As for me, I love photography since it makes me see the world in a different perspective. Parang even the unconventional becomes more beautiful when captured by the lens.

Sharing some of my recent shots. I have a lot more to know, but I'm enjoying the learning process.
