these are the things that is always noticeable to an interviewer if you are a newbie
they always check these coz its unnatural to filipinos:
(soft th) - thing, thirsty, thyme, thank, think, thorn
soft th are words that you can pronounce by placing your tongue at the back of your upper teeth then blow a lil bit of hair parang naiipit ang dila *** nga lang nasa likod lang to ng ngipin sa itaas use the merriam webster website to listen to the word and mimic how it is pronounced
(hard th) - those, them, these, their, together, therefore
so to pronounce it right just pronounce it with like a letter d with lil bit of air and softness for example dog artehan mo lang dhog hahaha something like that! You will figure it out guys!
(v) for vendetta- this letter is a lil bit difficult to pronounce if you're speaking rapidly coz naturally as i have said we don't have a letter v and we got in from the spaniards! They too don't have a letter v in their pronounciation! You can practice it by saying this an excerpt of a dialogue from v for vendetta
“voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsaving the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. [laughs] verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me "v". "
