Why is the Philippine society accepting of a man's infidelity

Maybe true in some parts of the world where women are by tradition and religion treated as second-class citizens. In countries where the issue of gender equality had been addressed with utmost liberty in practically every aspects and venues of our society, both genders seem to have settled on, among others, equal entitlement—including understanding when having committed similar “sin”.

The only inequality is in the physical disadvantage women have, and they can be judged stupid when they get pregnant by another man.

hindi ko ituturo sa anak ko ang fidelity. introduce ko lang yung concept pero siya bahala if he wants to pick it up or throw it out the window and i will not judge him for that.

It is a man's world. I've accepted that. But that doesn't justify that it's acceptable for a man to cheat on his wife.

If you are a father and you don't care about losing the respect of your children... then by all means dip your stick into any hole that's willing; if that's more important to you. Your wife, your children cannot force your values.

I don't think this is exclusive to Philippine society. Most societies in general are more accepting of male infidelities than females.
