Advice to Jessica: As the others already said, don't ever set foot here in the Philippines. Or else you will be infected by jaundice called "Phil. Media". Just continue to strive for the best there in the Land of Opportunity.

nakakasawa at nakaka-irita na nga that js news is taking up valuable airtime for more important and relevant news.
pero let's be honest, hindi palusot yang sinasabi nila as previous ai seasons have proven that.
marami pa rin talagang mga kano na hanggang ngayon ay racists deep inside pero di na tulad ng dati na they can say it out loud so easily without fear of being brought to justice.

otherwise , di pag-aaksiyahan ng space on this forum. sa showbiz , good or bad publicity is still publicity.

Because pride is a poor substitute for intelligence and accomplishment.

Pinauso yata ng media yang "Proud to Be pinoy" na yan. Wala. Magtatapon lang ng pera para dyan.

You have ABS-CBN (A bullsh!t network broadcasting nonsense) to thank for that.

Tsaka anong proud to be pinoy?

A lot of relevant news is already available and open for discussion in this forum section, as seen in several of my posts. All you need to do is read them and send your comments.

Also, the problem is a global one, as seen in ratings for American Idol and other shows. The issue has to do with the need for mainstream media to present good news, entertainment, something scandalous or titillating, or something disturbing but not to the point as to dissuade people from spending, as that would not be advantageous for corporate sponsors.

Given that, I think it is up to forum members to learn to start thinking for themselves and consider not only national issues like the PH economy but how global ones will affect the same.

I would prefer that the economy and national security be given equal opportunity in the presentation of thread topics. (LAFI as a forum section is singular and all-encompassing - showbiz tend to rule the queue ).

That is why Tulfo, Claudine, and Sanchez always gets the upper hand.
