Just like this year's 1-8 MIA-NYK match-up? With the emergence of the Nets and the resiliency of the veteran Celtics the Knicks are hard-pressed just to even win the Atlantic division. I'd still pick the Celtics as the most worthy East contender against the Heat.

Melo did just fine with those 2.

Not really trolling since there is a sliver of truth to what he said. Last time I checked Melo's partnership with those 2 quality PGs haven't produced any championship or even a Finals appearance. Until Melo becomes a "complete team player" he wouldn't come close sniffing a championship even if he plays with the best PGs in NBA history.

Okay... so last time you checked, Melo didn't win a Championship with Andre Miller and Chauncey Billups. Okay dude, last time I CHECKED only the Spurs, Lakers, Mavs (once), Detroit (once), and the HEAT (twice) have won NBA Championships since Melo started playing in the NBA. He reached the WCF with Billups. Did you watch that series? You SERIOUSLY thought Denver lost that series because Melo was a ballhog? SERIOUSLY?

To say that "it doesn't matter who we get" lalala cause we have Melo is TROLLING. Same way that people say Melo doesn't play Defense. Yeah, sure.. he doesn't play DEFENSE in NBA Highlights that you watch or when he was in Denver he wasn't really playing hard on D. But since Melo became a Knick, even the critics (the NBA people who actually know the game, not Forum posters who just want to bash) noticed that Melo has been playing hard on defense and actually improved a lot.

But of course... whatever I say, I can't change your perception of Carmelo Anthony. He will let his game do the talking this coming season. Hopefully, you do watch the Knicks (not just highlights) so you can give a fair assessment of his performance and how we will fare with Jason Kidd.

Again, BARON DAVIS had surgery and it will take him 1 FULL YEAR to recover from it. He vowed to be back and play for the Knicks once he recovers. That's the 2013-2014 NBA Season.. By then he'd be 34 or 35; but he really wants to play for us and back up Lin. If he comes back he'd play limited minutes in 2013-2014.

No news about Mike Bibby. He might come back for the Vet Min as a 3rd string PG. The guy has nothing left but occasional 3 balls here and there. Wouldn't mind him at all.

lol kidd is still a reliable pg compare to most of the pg in the league... puro scoring pg na ngayon... rondo na lang yata ang sumusunod sa yapak ni kidd ngayon

sorry, I post via iPhone so I miss a few posts here and there. IMO the Knicks should dump Bibby and get another SG I'm sure he'll be lost in the rotation.

Dati sila Jason Kidd and the Nets ang underdog pag naglalaban ang Nets vs Knicks.


Ngayon naman nabaligtad na.

10 years later, si Kidd napunta na sa Knicks.
... at sila naman ang underdog ngayon.


Di pa ako sanay mag-cheer sa Knicks. Buti na lang medyo nakapag-practice na ako last season dahil kay Jeremy Lin.

Although imposibleng mabalik pa ni Kidd yung game nya nung nasa Nets pa sya, sana maulit pa ni Kidd yung nagawa nya sa Nets noon.

Makapasok sana sa finals ang Knicks.

People are saying that the Knicks still have a problem at the shooting guard position. Pwede na si JR Smith as a starter. Di naman kailangan superstar lahat sa starting five. The Mavs won a championship with Stevenson as their starting shooting guard.


Si JR Smith ang shooting guard sa umpisa pero, sila JLin & JKidd ang magiging backcourt tandem sa endgame.

Sabi kasi ni Kidd, di important sa kenya yung starting position... mas importante daw na sa endgame naglalaro pa din sya.
