And then what after you buy a fully loaded with missiles and ciws frigate/corvetter how are the PN personell going to operate them when they never went to an advance weapons system school. Need to buy as much as three Hamiltons rearm them one a time in stages,have the American or European instructors teach in the Philippines so it would be cheaper than sending PN sailors to US or Europe. Once the Hamiltons are rearmed then we the PN can buy ships that are ASW,AA and AS capable by that time the PN alreadey have experienced sailors who can operate the next level of warfare,it aint no video game it takes time to learn a whole brand new technology.

Israel also had stripped down 2nd hands from WW2. They modified it and was a real success defending itself from attacking arab neighbors. With military purchases, it should not be broadcast in the open. It should be kept secret, sealed tightly.
