My beloved Kobe? Kobe still making the second team despite not guarding the best perimeter player of the opponent is beyond me.

If Serge Ibaka doesn't deserve to be in the all-defensive team, I don't see the reason why CP3 should be in as well. Averaging 3 steals or 5 blocks doesn't ipso facto make you worthy to be in the all-defensive team.

Screw it.. All I'm hoping for is that this motivates Chandler and he BEASTS again next season. Hopefully; he gets a back-to-back DPOY. And with Howard out, there's no reason why he shouldn't be All NBA 1st.

Both MJ and Kobe still had the ability to lock down their opponents during the late stages of their careers, but they couldn't do it on a consistent basis because their offensive game will suffer. Just like MJ, Kobe made it because of his reputation as an elite defender.
