Botox for Jaw Reduction is where botulinum toxin (aka botox) is injected into the muscles of the jaw (called the masseter muscle) to reduce its size. In some ethnicities, patients have a tendency to develop overly square facial features. Botox can reduce the overall size of the masseter muscle, allowing for improved facial proportions in a noninvasive manner. Only selected dermatologist can do this procedure safely and effectively. You will appreciate that the botox for jaw reduction is relatively painless. It takes skill and technique to provide this in a relatively painless manner. It will be done in a sterile room, in about 15 to 20 minutes only. You can go back to work since it is a non invasive procedure.
