Hindi nya magawa kasi hindi malinis ang konsensya nya, and if he is going down, he is going to take others down with him. Yan lang nakikita kong reason kung bakit ganun ang kondisyones nya sa kanyang waiver.
Pwedeng malinis nga ang record niya at wala siyang tinatago, pero since they are compelling him to show his personal financial and bank records, while he is privileged and protected by law not to, he's not laying them down on a silver platter. He wants to make it a little nasty and uncomfortable for those who pursue him, in exchange for waiver of his right .

Pero the way he acted defiantly yesterday and stupidly, i don't think he is thinking right.

I disagree. Opening up his accounts for investigation would give a clear message. The Chief Justice himself will not hide behind laws that are being abused by those who will hide illegal wealth in dollar accounts. The next person who will be investigated will not be in any position to hide behind the special treatment/rule for dollar accounts. All will have to bare all otherwise it will be a very clear sign that one is guilty of putting questionable amounts of money in his/her dollar accounts.

Kahit ano pa mangyari, may desisyon na naman yung mga senador eh. Most of them would probably go with where the 'masa' is. The masa who is being controlled by the yellow media. The masa who voted for Pnoy and Erap.

If Corona loses, mawawalan ako nang gana. Biruin mo, manduhan ng Presidente yung proseso. Dapat ginalang nila ang batas.

I approve of what corona did, atleast up until the challenge against the congressmen and Drilon.

'Maghuhubad ako kung maghuhubad ka rin.'

*side note: See how arrogant Drilon is? Pati si Cuevas grabe niya kung astahan.

Pls SHARE with ur friends: Philstar columnist Carmen Pedrosa talked to one Senator-judge whom she knows for a long time and trusts , THAT ALL SENATORS WERE VISITED AND PERSUADED BY MALACANANG during the Holy Week, TO VOTE FOR THE CONVICTION of CJ CORONA in exchange of P100-M pork barrel.
Please share the name of the Senator-Judge friend...

    for me:

    obvious guilty.

Hehe We are actually agreeing. However, CJ cannot force anyone to yield to the conditions he laid down as, being the one impeached, he is not in the position to set conditions of bargain, let alone in the IC. Further, not revealing personal financial information does not necessarily make one guilty of misappropriation or having ill-gotten money.

CJ may, in subtle retaliation (and obvious defiance of the court), have challenged his accusers' conscience, but we all know how callous politicians are--they always take advantage of their privileges with utter disregard.

It's different in the case of the hospital refugees Arroyo, Garcia and, now, CJ Corona: Their minds are eager to survive prosecution, so they pretend to have afflicted and weak body to keep their will to get away with their crime.

i think in this case, we can't say that cj corona is completely pretending to be sick. he may be taking advantage but he's been diagnosed and been receiving treatment years before.

parang si marcos. parang si aquino when he was able to go to the states for a procedure while being a political prisoner.

YES OR NO. GUILTY BA FOR YOU? What you say ?

  17. #36
guilty saan? there are 3 remaining articles duon sa impeachment eh plus parang pinanalabas pa na may ill-gotten wealth pa, pinipilit lang isaksak dun sa non-inclusion sa SALN niya.

If it is sa ill-gotten wealth, I think he is innocent....but duon sa incorrect filing ng SALN, then he is guilty.

Is it impeachable or not, I think NOT!

  18. #37

I admit I haven't been following the trial closely and I honestly don't know that much about politics in general (hehe), pero bakit nga ba biglang ang issue ngayon eh dapat mag-sign din ng waiver yung iba? I know it's for transparency/accountability/all that, pero di ba si CJ naman ang on trial? Hindi ba dapat separate issue na ito?

Pasensya, ang dami kasi nagpopost sa facebook na dapat ma-sign na yung iba ng waiver, but I don't get kung ano ang direct connection nito to whether CJ should be impeached or not.
