No Rose for the rest of the year or perhaps the whole season.
I hope we can sign a player that can fill-up for injured rose for the time being.
And Please Trade Boozer

sana all star na point guard, shooting guard at power forward
It's going to be a sad year since No Rose for the Bulls. Sino sino ba FA after the season kailagan talaga ng Bulls eh trade si Boozer. How about p. gasol for Boozer hehehehe
Since Rose will be out for at least 8 months;
Would you guys rather tank next season in order to get a lottery pick or would you rather see the Bulls give their all and make it to the playoffs, and hopefully make the first round interesting?
Shabazz Muhammad (prolific scorer), Kyle Anderson (6'8 PG in the T-Mac mold) and Nerlens Noel (Anthony Davis 2.0) are all projected to go one-and-done.
On the other hand, playoff experience will be good for this team's relatively young core. It should make them mentally tougher and more capable of stepping up in situations where Rose can only do so much.
Let's just get this out of the way first:
No team in the NBA wants Boozer's fat contract. He will NOT be traded or amnestied. It will only happen in our dreams. No one wants him PERIOD. "Maybe" he will be amnestied in the last year of his contract.
I'm prepared for the Bulls to tank next season.
Are they prepared to enter into luxury tax territory in a lost season? Meaning less than 50% chance of winning a championship. Are they prepared to offer Asik a big contract and retain Watson, Korver, Brewer for a lost cause?
We all know Rose will be out 8 months minimum, he will be very rusty when he comes back and I doubt he can contribute to the best of his ability if the team pushes for a playoff run. Without Deng, no matter who's on board, we will be screwed in the standings in the east.
This is a chance for Thibs to develop some EFFECTIVE offensive plays without using Rose and Deng. We've got to live and die with Boozer's performance, bring him back to his All-star level back in Utah. Surround him with "cheap" players who are decent perimeter shooters and play makers. Thibs should try to be more like Pops, always think in the long run than in the short term. LEARN to preserve the health of his roster cos they are not machines playing 35-40+ minutes night in and night out, don't be so obsessed with playing too much defense. Remember they can hardly score 75 points in the Philly series.
Every Championship Team in recent years tanked a season before winning their ring. It happened with the Spurs, Mavs, Heat, etc.
The Bulls Nation may not be that excited this coming season compared to the 2014 season because of the arrival of Mirotic and a healthy lineup in day 1 of the training camp. But who knows, we might still reach the ECF depending on the management's decision this off season.
Hope that Captain Kirk comes back; Mike James becomes our 2nd stringer guard; more playing time for Jimmy Butler; Gibson and Noah turns into All Stars; Omer will not demand much money; and Thibs will no longer be a stubborn rookie coach. He should get a woman this off season and relinquish his 40+yr old bachelor status hehe.
Report: Lakers’ Pau Gasol wants to play for Chicago Bulls
Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol would like to play for the Chicago Bulls, Bulls.com’s Sam Smith reports. Smith cites “Lakers insiders” that tell him Gasol wants out of Los Angeles and would like to land in Chicago.
Gasol clashed with Lakers star Kobe Bryant and Lakers management this season, as he put up the worst statistical season of his 11-year NBA career. He finished the season averaging 17.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, but he only averaged 12 points on 44 percent shooting in the Lakers’ second-round playoff loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Keep in mind that the Lakers already traded Gasol once, before the 2011 season started, only to have the deal nixed by NBA commissioner David Stern. Gasol trade rumors also floated around near the trade deadline. That, plus his $19 million salary over the next two seasons, are prime reasons the Lakers want to move him.
The question is whether Chicago will get involved and whether the Bulls are prepared to significantly overhaul their roster after a first-round playoff exit at the hand of the Philadelphia 76ers. Smith ponders whether they would:
That, of course, would be if the Bulls decided to start anew and provide a new and different kind of cast to play with Rose. It’s maybe the biggest philosophical question to begin to consider these next few weeks.
Early last week, The Los Angeles Times reported that Gasol got few answers from Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak in his exit interview.
“I wish I could have clarification but they can’t give it to me right now,” Gasol told the paper. “I think management still has to talk to ownership to see what direction this thing will be going next year.”
He did say that if he was back with the Lakers, he hoped for a “much more peaceful year.”

by the way at least for a change may rumored player (Gasol) who actually wants to be a Bull.
Pacers will take the Central Division Title next year.
Chicago will make a run at Steve Nash and Jason Kidd in free agency, according to a source.
C.J. Watson filled in admirably in place of an injured Derrick Rose in the postseason, but the Bulls are expected to look to upgrade at point guard during Rose’s absence.
Rose is walking with a soft brace after undergoing surgery to repair a torn left ACL and is hoping to return by next season’s All-Star break.
good for the FO if they really are considering Nash or Kidd.
Magandang mentor sila for Drose plus it will make our team better especially yung stats nila Deng and Boozer dahil playmaker sila.
I would like Nash though if ever.
^ IMO mas magaling na leader si kidd kaysa kay nash which will help in hte development of d rose. almost same lang din sila ng mold when they entered the league - no jumpshot. kaso mukang gusto ni kidd sa mavs esp. pag dun pumunta si deron![]()
plus i heard the team is looking to move up the draft picks and may news na nakipagmeet daw ang Bulls kay Harrison Barnes
