Hindi rin maganda performance ni DJO during summer league. If Ebanks comes back, I think Eyenga might be the strongest backup SG candidate.

    +10 assist is possible

the LALakers must first improve on their FG% before SNash could do 20APG. passes with no field goals are not assist ...

  5. #745
The highest APG was 14.5 APG recorded by John Stockton. So Nash recording something close to 20 is almost impossible.

FYI, LA interested in Jodie Meeks, 6'4 SG who is an excellent outside shooter, but so-so defender. With Foye and Lee gone, and Brandon Rush nearly a lock to return to GSW, Meeks and Martell Webster (talented but injury prone) are the top two FA SGs remaining.

As currently constructed LA is deep up front and weak in the backcourt.

    C - Bynum, Hill
    PF - Howard, Jamison, McRoberts
    SF - MWP, Ebanks
    SG - Kobe
    PG - Nash, Blake, Morris

    Gone: Barnes, Murphy
50-50 Chance of making the team;: Eyenga, Goudelock, DJO, Sacre

Oops. Shoud've have meant Gasol. Redoing the depth chart again:

    C - Bynum, Hill
    PF - Gasol, Jamison, McRoberts
    SF - MWP, Ebanks
    SG - Kobe
    PG - Nash, Blake, Morris

Instead of E-Banks, why not use Eyenga this time. He can be used also as reliever to Kobe.

Lakers like Ebanks more than Eyenga. But there's a probability Ebanks will go in a Howard trade.

Kobe Bryant on Anthony Davis: I took him under my wings. Everywhere I go, he goes. He has a lot of talent. I’m excited to see him grow.

Buti na lang kay Kobe dumidikit 'tong si Davis at hindi kanila CP3, Lebron at Deron. Makakahinga ng maluwag sila Dell Demps at Monty Williams.

Kobe Bryant goes back to school: Lakers switching to Princeton offense

    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--ko...AMEcHQD;_ylv=3

    a) Pau's gonna thrive seriously on this offense
    b) Bynum's game might suffer because the offense doesn't make low post possessions a major feature. Moving and passing in the high post isn't exactly his strong suit. He's really gonna have to develop a competent 16-18 footer to be an asset in this offense.
    c) Artest might thrive under this offense because he had Rick Adelman as a coach (who utizlied the Princeton O on the teams he previously coached on - Kings and Rockets)
    d) Jamison will likely thrive in this O...had Eddie Jordan as a coach dati.
    e) Why do I get this bad feeling that Nash gonna become a spot up shooter in this offense?

  19. #759
Lakers will use princeton offense this season. Hind kaya maapektuhan ang laro ni Nash niyan...

  20. #760
It will be interesting to see
how the Lakers use a Princeton
offense with Steve Nash — his outside shooting certainlY helps space the floor in those sets. But not using Nash on
    some more traditional pick-
and-roll sets with Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol would be a waste, as would not
allowing Nash to push the pace
and probe early in the shot
clock. He is at his most
    dangerous in that setting.
My guess is we will see a
    hybrid, with the Lakers
    running Princeton at times but
    not every time down the
court, or that they will be able
to attack for the first 10 seconds of the clock before
    settling into the offense.
