    Shopping alone: ok lang ba?

Hello! I'm not sure if I'm at the right forum pero since this involves clothes & fashion, dito na lang ako nagpost.  eto kasi yun... I just got back from an out-of-the-country trip, and sadly wala ni isa akong nabiling anything dun, kahit isang simple shirt lang, wala, because of time constraints and ang hirap ng communication dun, ang hirap humingi ng size. Hahaha! Anyway, my mother just gave me my allotted shopping budget and dito na lang daw ako sa Manila magshopping, and I think it's better. So yung plan ko is to go to the mall alone one day and do my shopping. Hindi ba kaya nakakahiya yun? Magshopping magisa all day? Hehehe sorry if ang babaw ng problem ko pero I just need comments. Kayo ba kapag nakakita ng taong mag-isang nagshoshopping, anong naiisip niyo? (not that I don't have friends to go with pero ayoko lang silang abalahin na samahan ako para lang dun) thanks!!!!

I find shopping alone so much better. You can take as much time as you want with no one to bother you.

Yeah, shop alone! Or, if you have that buddy who's also into shopping and has the same long walking/standing tolerance as you, go bring him/her.

But if you're gonna go style hunting and really picky about stuff, shop alone so you'll have all the time you need.

Wag ka mahiya. bakit ka mahihiya, di ka naman mag sshoplift di ba? Go lang okay lang yan.

I do this all the time. The girlfriend can't stand my general indecisiveness

    When isn't it not ok?

It's more efficient to shop alone. You don't have to consider other people on where they are and what they want to do.

I do shop alone and prefer it that way. I find shopping in group mostly counterproductive.

I prefer shopping by myself. I got to go to stores and wonder as ling as I wanted witout worrying someone's waiting for me.

I shop alone most of the time. I'm not indecisive, but I do want to know all possible options first before buying something so I really look at all the stores that I think would carry what I want/need.

The only time I bring someone along is when I'm looking for an outfit that I will wear to a really important event. I bring my bestfirend. She loves shopping as well so it's not a problem. I bring her just so I can have an honest opinion of how I look in the outfit. Can't trust my biases all the time after all...

if you need to ask people whether you ought to shop alone or not then i don't think you could go out and by stuff by yourself too. lol.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with shopping alone. I even do it all the time! But why are you so conscious? Is it because of safety? If yes, then you better opt shopping at malls rather than tiangges or night markets. But if you are one of those people who cares a lot about what people might think (example: when you eat alone at a restaurant and feel like it's really awkward), then trust me, the other shoppers/ costumers have things on their minds to mind and judge you

Yes, because I don't have to worry about time. It's more convenient kasi I always try the clothes on first and check if it fits well.

I would prefer shopping with a friend or any one of your relative, because this can - in any way prevent you from being compulsive in shopping, and your companion can really tell if something you wanted to buy really suits you. Sales people do lie most of the time (hehe). But it's ok too to shop alone though.

Hell yeah. Shopping with someone adds pressure!

  15. #15
i would only shop with someone if he/she will pay for the items

otherwise, i'd better shop by myself. just don't listen too much to the store assistants when they say something looks good on you.

    mas prefer kong mag-isa

window shopping is better with someone .... because its like playing a game:
    "lets pretend."

I prefer shopping alone so that I don't feel pressured to make decisions faster and I can take my time fitting. Also, I find it more relaxing. Retail therapy!

If I'm with my shopping with my parents and they'll pay for it. I wouldn't mind the hassle

If you're not comfortable of shopping alone then ask someone who can go with you. I would suggest tag along a friend/relative na closest sayo kasi most probably you have the same taste so they wont mind if you'll bug them. Plus, masasabi pa nila kung okay yung item na gusto mo. Happy Shopping!!
